The sound of glass shattering filled the room as the teenager stared in utter shock.
She pulled out her phone and texted her two best friends in messenger, asking them if she could stay in their house.
Her friends replied quickly, knowing that this is an emergency.
She stood there dumbfounded at their replies

M: it's 4 am in the morning

M: Did ur mum abuse u again?
J: No but she will once she gets here!
M: We got kicked out of our house btw
A: Yea. We're in the JAM treehouse RYT now
J: R U KIDDING ME?!
A: Nope
M: no
J: GREAT! just great !
M: why
J: I was about to ask if I can stay at ur house BCUZ I accidentally broke a vase and my mum's gonna kill meeeeee
A: SAY NO TO FEAR OUR TREEHOUSE IS HERE
M: u can stay at the treehouse
J: thanks Monica!
A: how bout me ioi
M: np
J: thanks to u too Ashley ( even doe u didn't do anything )

M: bueeee
As Jade was preparing her water guns to squirt vinegar on her abusive mother's face if she ever get caught, she suddenly heard a knock on the door.
She realized she still got a chance to escape.
She would open the door and squirt some vinegar on her mother's face, and run to her bedroom upstairs. Since she has a window, she can escape.
Her phone suddenly vibrated and she checked her phone.
Ashley and Monica informed Jade that they're already waiting for her down her window like rapunzel's prince. ( she had told them her plan and she also packed her stuff before )
She opened the door and quickly squirted vinegar on her mother's face.
"ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Her mother screamed in pain, as the vinegar stinger her eyes.
Jade quickly ran upstairs and locked her bedroom.
Jade grabbed the bag which had all her stuff in there and opened her window.
She could hear her mom banging on her door.
'She probably has a knife' she thought as she gulped.
She jumped out her window and landed on her back.
"Ouchhhh" Jade laid there for a few seconds before recovering from the fall.
They ran to the woods and immediately spotted their treehouse.
They climbed up and sighed in relief.
The night went by as fast as a car and they went to sleep before saying their good nights.
THE NEXT MORNING...
Jade fluttered her eyes open and realized it was Sunday.
Jade woke Monica up and told her that she'll be hunting some animals for food since she knows how to use the bow and arrow (she also brought it with her)
Monica nodded silently and woke Ashley up.
"Ngh mhm... five more minute maaaaa" Ashley groaned while forming number 5 with her hand.
"We got kicked out remember ?"
"Oh yea"
Ashely sat up and immediately went to her bag to grab her phone.
As she was only a few inches away from getting her phone, Monica slapped her hand away and scolded her that it was a "no-Gadget-Zone" today.
So she looked outside instead.
She spotted a bunny and being the animal lover that she is, went down the treehouse and chased the bunny.
She has been chasing the bunny for awhile, and caught hold of it.
Monica tried to chase her, but her legs were not that full of energy.
As soon as she looked at her surroundings, her mouth was slightly open and her eyes widened.
Monica did the same and scolded Ashley that they were lost and Ashley apologized.
They tried to go back to their treehouse but an invisible barrier blocked them from doing it.
Ashley turned around and a portal appeared.
"Uhmmm... am I dreaming?" Ashley unconsciously asked herself, her mouth slightly opened again.
"I don't think so.... i see it too" Monica replied hesitantly while gulping at the thought of what could be inside there.
"I'M GOING INNNNNNN" Ashley shouted, almost making the birds fly away.
"WAIT! Wait for meeeeee!!"
"Oki" Ashley happily replied.
They both jumped in and didn't think of what could be inside there.
Turns out Jade was also in there
