"Coulson!" I called as I ran down the hallways towards him and he stopped and turned to me and smiled. "Hey there kiddo, listen I got in contact with Natasha. She agreed to come back and she's going to get a guy by the name of Bruce Banner, familiar with him?" He asked as he turned and handed me his file.
"Yeah, he's the gamma ray exposure person right? Turns green when he's angry?" I asked following behind him.
"That's him alright, and Ms. Natasha is supposed to be getting him and bringing him to us to help with this whole situation." He said turned a corner fast and I followed.
"I'm supposed to be with Nick, but I have no idea where he is. Any idea?" I asked once Coulson scanned his card and turned to enter another room.
"Have you checked the meeting room?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Thanks Coulson, see you around." I said smiling as I began my journey back to the conference room. I walked and seen the door was open but I could here Nick's voice and some of the people he was talking to. I knew I shouldn't intrude but I waited outside the door. Nick continued to talk to the people and I waited patiently outside the door. "Kid, get in here I know you're out there." I heard his voice call after the call was ended.
"Yes sir?"
"We gotta go, you ready?"
"Where are we going?"
"We have to go get another asset to our team."
"Steve?"
"Kid, calm down. Yes and since I can't risk losing you, you're coming with me." Nick said as he walked past me and I followed behind excitedly, I always wanted to meet Steve. Tony I had met a couple times and I liked him as well, but I had never met Steve and I was excited. Nick began walking out the room and I quickly followed behind him. We walked outside and I shielded my eyes from the sun as we walked towards the car that would be bringing us to find Steve. I climbed into the passenger seat as Nick sat behind the wheel, I buckled my seat belt as he began to drive to Steve's location.
"You know where he is?" I asked.
"I know where everyone is Abigail."
"Except Loki."
"Watch yourself."
I laughed at Nick's remark, I knew he didn't know where Loki was but I was also still worried about Clint. Eventually we reached an old looking gym, Nick stopped the car and got out. I followed behind him as we walked through the door but stopped at an entrance, and there he was. I stopped and stared at the man in front of me, he was swinging at a punching bag and I was amazed to finally meet someone like me. He continued to wham away at the bag and I looked up at Nick, "Go ahead kid." He said nudging me and pushing me forward.
"Hello, Mr. Captain America? I'm not really sure how to address you." I said nervously as he turned around to face me with a welcoming smile.
"Hi there kid, I've seen you in the news recently, Abigail right? And you can call me Steve." He said laughing.
"Oh, well hello, Steve. And yes, I'm Abigail."
"Pleasure to meet you kiddo."
"The pleasure is all mine, sir."
"And Mr. Fury, what can I do for you sir?" He asked and I turned to look at Nick.
"I'd like to talk, about a team." He said.
I watched both the men converse from the side of the ring, I had taken a seat when I realized Nick and Steve were going to be talking for a while.
