Alexandra's P.O.V
I looked at my peaceful surroundings.
I have always wished my life would be just like this. Peaceful, and free from problems and countless responsibilities.
I sighed and stood up from where I was sitting and walked quietly to the palace.
"Princess Alexandra! Where have you been? Your parents are searching for you, and they are worried sick" our head butler, Geoffrey, said as he saw me walking up the stairs toward the palace.
"Oh, I went out to the meadow. Thought I could take things out of my mind" I said, sliding my hand up and down the stairs stone railings.
"That is of no excuse! Go to the throne room, your parents will meet you there" Geoffrey scolded and walked away.
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
I walked to the throne room in taciturnity.
When I arrived at the door, I sighed and got ready for the series of scolds and of them being 'worried sick' about me.
I went in and my mother immediately stood up from her throne and hugged me. My dad, whatsoever was just on his throne and looked at me worriedly.
"Alexandra, why did you go out of the castle premises without our permission?" my dad asked, his tone was dead serious.
"Oh. Um, I was supposed to ask permission from you but then I saw that you weren't here in the throne room so I went out because I saw guards were on duty" I said meekly.
"We don't care even if there are guards on duty. All me and your mother wants is for you to be safe. The outside world is of full danger these days" dad said.
"Okay. I understand" I said, looking down.
There was an awkward silence that you could even hear a pin drop.
"Alexandra, please go to your room now, me and your dad have some important matters at hand that we need to discuss, Marie and Alice will be escorting you to your room" my mother said, motioning for Alice and Marie.
We went out of the room and walked down the long halls.
"Miss, can you tell us what you were really doing out a while ago?" Alice asked curiously.
Well, it wouldn't hurt to tell them I guess. After all, they were my closest friends here in the castle.
"Okay, okay, I'll tell you. As long as you keep it a secret from my parents" I said, smiling.
"Okay. Your secret is safe with us" Marie said smiling.
I smiled at both of them. I knew I could trust them.
"Okay, so, I was out on he meadow because my parents made me do a years worth of responsibilities due next week. Can you believe that?. So, I decided to sneak out so I could meet my friend who is another prince so he could give me advice on what to do" I explained.
"Hmm. I thought princesses only have etiquette lessons, go to royal parties, host tea parties, and have beauty sleep. Guess I was wrong " Alice said.
"Well, for children, princesses will be all sparkly and glamorous. But my life is far from any of those" I said.
"Hey, Miss, can you tell us who the prince was? Was he handsome?" Marie asked when we got inside my room.
Seriously, my maids are so boy crazy.
"Actually, you've seen him a lot of times already" I said, plopping myself over my bed.
"Really? Who is it?" Alice asked, intrigued.
"Well, he's just Henry" I said like it's an overdue news.
"Really?! Oh, I really think Prince Henry is cute! Don't you think so Miss?" Marie asked, eyes wide.
"What? What's so special about Henry?" I asked curiously.
"Well, he's handsome, smart, kind, and a good prince" Alice said.
(A.N. Well, I suck at these royalty kind of stories, but since I got forced to do this..So yeah😁)
I yawned and lay myself down on my bed.
"Girls, let's continue our discussion tomorrow, I'm sleepy. And also tell my parents I won't be joining them eat dinner" I said.
They stood up and smiled.
"Okay Miss. Goodnight" they both said.
I gave them a small smile then they bowed and left.
After they went out of my room, I wrote a little entry on my journal and fell asleep.
A.N.My friend who shall not be named did most of the work😂...
A.N.That sucked😒. Anyways, this is the first chapter of Alexandra's miserable life😂. So..yeah.. updates might be slow because my life is full of responsibilities and shiz..😂😂...Bye!❤
