Dark Hours

This is my first book or more story so it might not be to good

It was a dark night, about 11:00 11:30, even thought dark still blazing hot, but that didn't matter. Nothing seems to matter these days but surviving, the thought was the only thing keeping me or anyone alive now, just the hope of getting out of this dry barren hell.  
   
    I'm Eli by the way, born in England, I'm 14 I have shaggy blonde hair that falls over my eyes wich are a light Blue, also black jeans, a large grey tank top and an iron ring I got from my father before he died
    
    I turned around and watched the sun rise from a starless night...
