Sunrise, sunset, every day was the same. The sunny shore was illuminated by the fiery morning sun as your mom shook your shoulder, having you wake up. "(Y/n), today is the day we help you move into your new house!" Your mom told you in her gentle voice. You shot up in your bed immediately, smiling as you got dressed, and did your regular morning routine. With a shuffle of boxes that only took half an hour and the fuel of warm coffee and toast, you had packed all of your stuff in the moving truck to get to 346 Diver's Lane. You had been waiting to move for a week now, and the day had finally happened. You were only moving two streets over, by the idea of finally having your own house was really quite wonderful.
Later that day you insisted on your mother going home and resting after all of the unpacking you had done. The sun was burning bright, high in the sky and your mother was already looking tired. As you carried in other boxes and finished up, she obeyed your wishes and went home. You plopped down on your hand-me-down couch from your mom's basement and you sighed, your stomach growling. You promptly got up and walked to the kitchen - your kitchen - to make a sandwich when the buzz of a truck could be heard around you. You saw a moving truck pull into sight and you were confused - same company, but you had all of your stuff. The truck stopped, however, at the house next to yours (347 Diver's Lane) and stopped.
The afternoon breeze was interrupted by the shout of a smiling dark haired man. "Home sweet home!"
