I found an old school book that I had written a poem in. I decided to post it since I am kinda proud of it (cannot write poems to save my life XD).

Tv is bad,
Frankly, it makes us go mad!
Our entertainment goes through the roof,
When someone gets punched and loses a tooth.
Really it is all fake,
It's all about the money the producers make.
The situations are not natural,
None of it is factual!
The people on the show are full of fear.
Buy that makes us laugh and cry a few tears.
Oh, why do we waste our time,
Watching people commit crime?
Everyone is always lying,
This results in someone crying.
Watching others suffer is wrong,
And yet we long,
Long for the entertainment it brings,
Staring at a person who can barely sing.
However, what if the tables turned,
What if it was us who got burned?
Would we feel sad?
Then would we think reality Tv is bad?
Of course we would!
But it is not happening to us,
We're not the ones amongst all the fuss.
We don't have to humiliate ourselves live,
We don't have to 'fight to survive'.
In the world of Tv we are trapped,
Will we ever get our lives back?
If we really want to go back to life as it is meant to be,
We shouldn't watch reality Tv.
