Chapter 1

Alisha's POV

So, this is what school is like. People talk to much. Why is it different than middle school? "Omg Lucas looks so cute with his new haircut." I said out loud while staring at Lucas. "Umm, Alisha you said that out loud..." stated Kamryn. Kamryn is my best friend, but she has been hanging out with the popular kids, their names are, Karly and Ella.

Lucas walked over to me with his football team sweater over his shoulder. "Hey Alisha, what did you do over the weekend?" "Uh-uhm" I stuttered. "I hung out with Kamryn and Taylor!" The bell rang for class.

After class I saw Lucas talking to Kamryn, and I saw her walk away blowing a kiss to him. "I think he likes me!" She stated as she bit her watermelon smelling glossy lips. "O-oh..." I said as I ran to the girls washroom. I went into the stall with my feet on the toilet seat. A black tear ran down my face. I thought, it's probably from my mascara. I heard people talking, they sounded like guys. "Ugh, someone locked the door and left the stall." The last thing I heard in the stall was, ughh, open up, then the door bursted open
.  I'm surprised I didn't recognize the voice, it was Lucas!

We went to a beautiful park across the street, which may I say, is where most the couples go. He asked me why I was in the boy's washroom. I told him everything. He said "I think Kamryn is pretty, but I have feelings for someone else." I asked him who? Lucas replied "well she's sitting in this park right now, and she has a pink crop top on." I only saw one other person with a pink crop top, and she is really pretty. I said "oh is it that popular kid Karly?" He said "nooooo!" And he smiled. I thought with a big smile across my face and thought, I'm the only other one with a pink crop top on.

We went back to class and I sat beside Kamryn and Taylor, I also sat behind Lucas! Kamryn was staring at Lucas with "lovey dovey" eyes. All I thought about was throwing up. "Wouldn't me and Lucas be cute together?" Kamryn asked. I was thinking, ewww, no no no, blah, but I said "yes!" Taylor agreed with me.

It was the next day. I put on a black crop top with a smiley face on it. I put on blue ripped jeans with some holes going down my legs. I but grey socks, with red shoes. I brushed my hair and put it into a messy bun. I walked to school to only see the hottest guy ever, Lucas, Lucas Korey Hienold. That's his whole name. He came up to me and the first time ever he hugged me. I said what was that for. I looked up at him and he said "do you like me?" I said "why do you?" Lucas said " uhmm yea, and I was going to ask if you would, like to go to the movies with me tonight, that's if your not busy?" I replied "of coarse, and yes I do l-like you!"
