5 :: stand users dont cry

You gasped. "That's it, I'm going in," you said, in the process of taking off your shoes, socks, and jacket.

"Y/N, you're not going to make it down there! It's too dangerous!" Said Avdol. You cast a determined look at all of them. "You'll never know until you try," you said. You took a deep breath, then swung your leg over the railing and jumped.

It was a short but equally scary drop. One you hit the water, the scales attacked your legs, arms and torso, one grazing under your left eye. You were on the edge of the whirlpool. It was kind of hard to see.

Finally, the silhouette of the girl crossed your vision. You painstakingly swam closer, feeling each one of the scales cutting deeper into your body. You grabbed the girl by the waist, then swam to the top of the water.

The boat was about 10 feet away from you. You swam farther to the rusty ladder scaling up the boat, then grabbed onto the first notch. You slung the girl over your shoulder then began to climb up, which hurt a lot. You prayed you wouldn't get tetnis or something.

You swung your leg over the railing and practically fell on the floor in pain and exhaustion. The girl's fall was broken by your own body, so you kind of pushed her off of you.

Everyone gathered around you and the girl. You coughed up some water. "Y/N! Are you okay?!" Asked Polnareff. You looked up, but your heart twisted when you saw how full of sadness and worry Kakyoin's face was.

"Oh, I'm fine! The last thing I want you to do is worry," You said. You tried to get up but gasped and fell back down again. You looked at your legs, and they were pretty cut up. Much worse than shaving cuts.

You could feel blood from the cut trickle over your lips. You grabbed your stuff and gave a weak smile at Kakyoin, but then the girl coughed and then sprang back to life, as if nothing happened. "W-What happened?" She said. "Why am I all wet?"

You shook your head. "It's nothing you should be worried about."

She got up. "I'll...go dry off." She walked to a chair on the deck far away from where you were.

You sat up. But then, Jotaro threw himself over the railing. "We need to get off the ship. There's a hole-" but then the ship heaved and you could feel it going down. Everyone panicked.

"Shit! The lifeboats are this way!" Yelled Uncle Joseph. Everyone bolted, but you struggled to get up. You wondered how even Jotaro was able to walk even though his cuts were worse. You thought, maybe it was called 'not being a pussy'.

He brushed past you, but the turned around. In a grim tone, he said: "Next time, don't get involved. I can do things myself. I don't need help." You nodded nervously.

You shakily stood up, but then stumbled and fell right into someone's chest- Kakyoin's.

You pushed yourself off of his chest and blushed. "A-Ah, I'm so sorry!" You said. Kakyoin smiled. "It's fine...but we should probably get off this boat, though," he said.

But then, to your horror/surprise, he picked you up, princess-style. He started to walk off the boat.

"K-Kakyoin! What are you doing?" You asked. He smiled. "We can't have you hurting yourself, can we?" He asked. You hid your face in your hands so he wouldn't see how hard you were blushing. "Are you alright?" Kakyoin questioned.

"Yes, it's...just...that no one's ever done this to me before!!" You squealed. He laughed. "It's better than walking, right?" You nodded.

Eventually, you were all sitting on a lifeboat. Your worst nightmare was taking place: becoming a castaway. You were shaking like a leaf.

"Y/N, you're still bleeding," said Polnareff. You looked at your arms, which sure enough, were still seeping blood. "Oh, it should stop soon," you said, brushing it off.

Really, your entire body hurt, but you decided not to whine about it. It's called 'not being a pussy'.

AAAAUAGH. I'm sorry I made this chapter so unnecessarily long, by god. I'm just gonna skip over the part with the orangutan and the part with Ebony Devil because I'm much too lazy to write those. Heh. So straight to the hotel scene we go.
