Mark's POV

I arrived at base, my little trailer to be precise, in the middle of the woods, where the elusive big foot was supposedly lurking among the trees.
According to the Jasper newspaper that is. The group of tourists that went missing were suspected to have fallen at the hands of this creature. The police however, dismissed it as a mere accident. But somehow, I knew that he/she...was out there.
I needed the truth.

At my camp, I familiarized myself with everything inside, checked the cage I had, although this thing was supposed to be a monster, it churned my stomach to have it in a cage but I listened to my mind instead of my gut and got the cage anyway.

The lush greenery all around me, it reminded me of home. As I walked just around the perimeter of my camp I heard some footsteps behind me. Only to realize that they were my own.
"God, that always happens" I grumbled to myself. Maybe I should've gotten an actual crew together just in case, well to late for that now.

I went back inside, stocked up on med kits, ammo, my rifle, a night vision camera, batteries, tracking bullets, cameras, a flare gun and flare shots.
It was already dark, but I didn't stop myself from starting immediately. I looked at the map and the four pictures of the missing tourists.
My intention was to find and capture the elusive big foot but if I could find them as well, that would be something.

I headed out, the rain falling lightly, just enough to fill the air with light pitter patter of the raindrops falling to the leaves and ground. I readied myself, then I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Was that it?
I couldn't tell, it was a ways off and the place was dark but there was some light as it was becoming day but foggy.
"Big foot, I saw him. He's...glorious...or she. I have to see them again. " I said to myself out of complete awe.

I followed the direction to where I saw them.
Come on, where'd they go.
I heard something behind me again. Whipping around on my heels, there was nothing.
"Goddammit" I swore at myself.
"Giving me false fucking hope " again, chastising myself.

I kept on wandering around, it felt like forever. I came across a sign post.
"Talbot lake, Howse river, glacier lake.... River seems as good as any" I said to myself as I turned down the path. These woods were not frequently visited yet the path seemed well used.
Had them passing on this path been regular, maybe they loved the river.

Big foot POV (KILL ME NOW!!) 😂

I saw him, he's after me, he won't stop. I was just curious as to why the was a trailer parked in the middle of the woods, then I saw him. He stepped out of the trailer, the faint light hitting him perfectly. Then I saw it. In his hands, he brandished a huge rifle. He was looking around, I assume to see if he had spotted me. I hope he didn't.
I walked away, saddened at the fact that everyone wants to either hunt me for a trophy or just down right kill me. What have I ever done to them?  I was no murderer, I didn't kill anyone.
But they all suspected me for some reason.

As I made my way away from the stunning man with the rifle, I noticed him coming my way. Had he seen me? He was heading straight for me, he did see me. I ran away as fast I could, dashing down towards the river. My favourite place in these woods.

I sat at the river bank, just watching the water flow peacefully. Then, an object moving around caught my attention. It can't be....it is him. How could he find me?
I hid myself in the thick trees, just slightly peeking out to see him. Him brown hair flowed in the with d as gracefully as the water did. A soft looking material, patterned with red and black squares laid on his body, a more rough looking bottoms and boots that looked like they were made from the Hyde of an animal. And the rifle still in his hands. There were rounds of ammo on his person and what looked like tracking bullets. I know they were tracking bullets because I've seen them before.
