When I began the Pub in May 2015, I was not sure that we would even succeed. So may other sites like the Pub had failed.

I knew I needed a core group of devoted Poets, whose involvement, positivity and inspiration, would give this site the start it needed.

lyttlejoe was one of the first to fill that criteria and he has been our biggest supporter since that time.

I cannot begin to tell you what his positive attitude and inspiration has meant to me and to the Pub.

But beyond that, he has become a close and dear friend and I, for one will overwhelmingly miss him here at the Pub.

The Poets Pub without lyttlejoe, will be like Batman without Robin, Sherlock Holmes without Watson, hamburgers without fries and at times even the famous Muppet character Waldorf, without Statler.

Not seeing his comments anymore, will be like not seeing a familiar face, when you walk into the Pub.

My friend, I just want you to know that your stool will always be there and your poems will forever have a special place on the walls of our beloved Pub.

You were the heart and soul of this Pub and it will not be the same without you.

I am saddened beyond words, at your loss and if I could I would take some of your pain and try to help make your situation a little less dismal.

I will not pretend to know to know what you are feeling, but know I am always here for you, if you need someone to talk to.

We miss you already my friend and know that you have a family here, at the Pub, who love you and are here for you.

We all hope to see you back.

Personally I miss my buddy.
