shy girl in a new school

First day of school

*this chapter is gonna be short because I'm going off of what I remember. *

Disclaimer: my friends names that I mention through out the story arnt their real names. 

     "Yay it's the first day of 8th grade" my mom says as I slowly wake up.  I sit up and stare at her and say "ya and I'm not happy about it" then get up and go to my closet. She walks over with me and asks why.  I open the closet door and turn to her. "Do you not see these boxes. We just moved,  I won't know anybody and I miss my old friends. You can't expect me to be happy after leaving my friend that I've known for about 9 years." I turn back to the closet and start going through my clothes. My mom breaks my thought of how the day is gonna go by saying "I know you miss your friends. You will make new ones and besides we moved because you're bullying got so bad and your father was getting pissed off at the California politics."

   I shake my head as I keep looking then my mother finally leaves my room. I yawn and look at the clock realizing it's 6:08am. I pick out a black tank top with a plad overshirt with bleach washed black skinny jeans. I get ready and grab my stuff and put it in my back pack. Then I grab my phone off the charger and go to my bathroom. I look at my self in the mirror and think why did I have to move here I bet you will bullied for the same things. I leave the bathroom and walk to the kitchen where my dad just put cereal on the table for the both of us. We both sat down and started eating. 5 minutes past and he asked me " are you excited about your first day." As I was about to answer my mom walked in and said " she's not. She's mad we moved she doesn't know anybody and mad we left her friends." I glare at her.  Then I turned back to my dad and said " not only that I'm afraid I'm gonna be bullied for the same reasons." My dad stops and says "if anybody verbaly or physicly bullies my daughter they will not live to see the next day.

"It's time to go guys" my mom said.

    We both put our bowls in the sink and walked out the door. We all got in the truck and sat there for a minute. We had a 10 minute drive from the house to the school. As we get closer to school I start feeling scared. We got to the school and I sat in the car for a few minutes trying to calm myself. After 5 minute I get out of the car and walk to the front doors. I stop and sit on a bench trying not to throw up. A minute later my first teacher Mr. Herget comes out and sits infront of me. He talks to me for a few minutes then it's time to go inside.

     Skip ahead an hour.  We submit our request for what we want as our elective. I picked Spanish.

  Skip ahead another hour. We get to pick our lockers. The teacher had sticky notes with locker numbers and the combination on it. He called us up one by one. When it was my turn I walked up and randomly picked one and quickly sat back down.

    Being the dumbass I am and randomly picking one I got the fucking bottom locker. The good thing is later on I'm glad I have the bottom locker. Then we go back to the class room after putting our back packs in the locker. I was sitting quietly at the table with 4 other girls. The girl that was siting across the table from me named Bella passed me a note. 
 
The note read:
    Hey I'm Bella. You must be the new girl that moved from Cali. I home we can be friends.
 
I wrote back on the note:
    Hi Bella I'm Dani. Yea I just moved here from Cali a few months ago. I hope we can become friends.

   I passed the note pack to her. I looked down for a minute then looked back up and noticed she was writing again. She passed the note back that read:
       Want to have lunch with me and the rest of my friends.

I wrote back sure. Skip forward an hour and a half. We we're in Mr. Wass's class now. I sat in the back of the classroom by my self. After doing an hour of math we went to lunch. I met up with Bella. We got into the lunch line and got food.  We walked over to a table where she introduced me to Jamie, Kay, Brooke, Olivia, winter and summer. "Guys this is Dani. She just moved here." Bella said. They all said hello and I quietly mumbled hello back.

   After lunch we went back to Mr. Wass's and did science.  We had 2 hours of school left. For 1 hour we did science. The other hour the class just messed around. I sat in the back of the class room having a panic attack. 

*sorry this is kind of short like I said this is from memory.  Next week on Monday I'm gonna introduce 3 important people from school*
