Smalltalk
Smalltalk is easily one of the most important parts when meeting a person because it tells you most about the person you're talking to. Don't believe me? When talking to someone what do you usually say and ask? Where are you from?, What brought you here?, What grade are you in? Where'd you get your shoes? Of course, That may not seem important, but the trick is to make them feel important. Try to revert back to what they have said before. For instance, let's say they like the cowboys for some reason ask them if it's because they're from Dallas. You should also ask for their opinion because that shows you value their ideas even if you disagree with them. Lastly and maybe most important, Make sure you Listen more than you Talk.
Traits
A really charismatic person can "light up a room when they enter" and have a "Personal Magnetism". How can they do that? Well here are some quick tips. In the last paragraph, i said you should listen more than you talk and that's true, But there are some moments where you have to talk. Make sure you're confident. That means that you should love yourself, But make sure you aren't egotistical. A simple rule everyone should live by is that Everyone Is Equal. It doesn't matter if you're some super genius or amazing athlete no one likes to be undermined. Another thing to keep in mind is that you shouldn't be afraid to laugh at yourself. Tell an embarrassing story if you think you'll get a laugh out of it. Make sure you smile, though. You may not have a dazzling, perfect, gorgeous smile but neither do I but a well-timed smile can go long way.
Cheating Life part one
This is where I take I take everything I've covered and show you how to put it to good use. I've Lied a lot in my life and not proud of it (mostly) but it has gotten me out of sticky situations. Some tips to lying are to make sure you can believe your story, that one is pretty easy. A big thing you should look out for is to try not to rely on other people to help you lie. Let's say you were looking up memes in class and the teacher catches you. Don't deny that you were looking at memes but have an innocent reason for looking at memes. Try to come up with a story that has as much truth as possible. You know that in P.E it was raining yesterday and you had free time. A lie you could tell is that you spent your time looking at memes and forgot to remove the tab. Remember however that a big factor of lying is luck. You have a better chance of convincing someone if they don't think you're a liar. You should only lie as a last resort.
