Chapter 4: Ally and Riker?

*Ally's P.O.V.*

We arrived at a fro-yo place, walked in, and sat down. I looked at the menu and saw something that sounded REALLY good! Grasshopper fro-yo! I saw Asher stare right at the Grasshopper too! "So......what fro-yo flavor are you going to get?" I asked Asher.

"I am so going to get Grasshopper! I have been here once before and I loved the Grasshopper." Asher replied.

"Are you kidding me? That is what I am going to get too!"

"Really? You will love it! Come on! Let's go order!"

Ten minutes later.........

"This is really good like you said!" I said. It was vanilla fro-yo with mint chocolate syrup ontop. The final topping was crushed oreos! I mixed it all together and fell in love with the concoction!

"I was right! Wasn't I? So....are you into music?"

"I love music! I listen, dance, and sing to music 24/7! I am not that talented, but if you really want talent you should go to Anna! She is amazing! My favorite band is R5! My favorite in the band is Riker! He is so cute, has a great voice, and he is a really good bass player!" I replied.

"You must be just as good as Anna is! I love R5 too! I don't really have a favorite band, but I agree with you. Riker is pretty amazing! You like sports?" Asher asked.

"Yeah, I like cross country, ice hockey, and foootball."

"Really? Same here! What is your favorite football team?"

"The Broncos of course!"

"Same here! We are so alike! Have you ever gone to an R5 concert?"

"No, but Anna and I really want to go! Going to one fo R5 concerts would be a dream some true for both of us!"

"I have been to lots of R5 concerts! They are really good! Sometimes they even pull people up on stage to sing a song with them!"

"Really? I want that to happen to me! I heard R5 and their family moved here! The only thing is that no one knows where and when."

"Really?! Why didn't they tell anyone where and when? So they don't draw attention? To leave America wondering what happened to them" Asher asked looking into space as if he were on a TV show.

"I have no clue! It is probably so they don't attract attention."

"Have you and Anna promised each other anything? Like......you know........um.......you will always tell the truth to each other, always stick together, you know. That kind of stuff."

"Actually we have. When we became best friends we promised each other we would never lie to one other. My greatest fear is losing my best friend. I don't know what I would do or who I would go to for help."

"You can always come to me. You can trust me. Just you like you and Anna promised each other I will always tell you the truth. Okay?" Asher said with a cute serious face.

"Okay," I said looking into his eyes.

We just looked at each other. I had no clue what to say. Asher put his hand on mine and just held it. He was so cute the way he talked, acted, and the way he treated others. He really does look like Riker, but he just acts like he isn't. I don't know what to think. All I know is Asher loves music, R5, he cares about me, and that he will never lie to me. He pulled his phone out and looked at. He had a funny expression on his face.

"Please excuse me. I have to call my mom. She texted me saying she really needs to talk to me. I will be right back," Asher said as he got up and called his mom.

*Riker's P.O.V.*

Call between Riker and Stomie

Riker: Hey, mom! You needed to talk to me.

Stormie: Yeah I do, honey. I need to make sure you haven't told Ally our secret. You haven't yet. Right?

Riker: I haven't yet, but I really want to! I promised Ally I wouldn't lie to her. Please can I tell her?

Stormie: Riker, dear! We can't take any chances!

Riker: Mom, I know her enough that she won't say anything to anyone! She might tell Anna, but I will tell he Ross will tell her. Please? Please can I tell her?

Stormie: Oh, Riker! I guess so. If she tells anyone we will have to lie again. Got it?

Riker: I promise, promise, promise she would say anything. Thank it so much!

Stormie: Okay. Now go have fun on the rest of your date. Bye!

End of call

Here goes nothing! I really hope she doesn't hate me because I was lying to her before!

"Hey, Ally!" I said nervously.

"Yay! Your back!" she replied with a smile.

"Yup!"

"You seem nervous. What's wrong? Did something happen over the phone?"

"I have something to tell you. Please don't say anything until I am done. So as you know I am Asher May and we just moved here. Um.........so you remember how our were saying that R5 moved and how no one where they are?"

"Yeah. I know what is going on. You know something about R5."

"Your close. What I need to tell you is that I am actually Riker Lynch. You were right about R5 not wanting attention. My mom and dad told us we are now supposed to be known as the May family so for a couple of months we could be treated like normal kids instead of being the famous band R5."

"Anna and I knew you were somehow related to R5! Right now I am just glad you are being honest with me," she said as she smiled.

"I know how you said you would never lie to Anna, but you are going to have to lie to her this once. I know you are breaking this promise and it is for the best."

Ally looked shocked, stunned, and looked as though someone had just told her a horrible truth. I really hope she isn't mad at me!

"I....I don't know if I could go through with that! I have never lied to my best friends once! I don't want this one lie to mess up everything! I am sorry, but I don't think I can keep it a secret."

"Please, please, please keep it a secret! You don't have to be the one to tell her! Once Ross gets Anna to go on a couple of dates with him, which will hopefully be soon, Ross will tell her everything! I promise everything will sort out and you will have a reason for keeping it a secret! Just please don't let my parents down. Don't let me down."

*Ally's P.O.V.*

Riker is looking at me again! He is giving me that cute face I love. Come on! Stand for the truth! He said do it for me! "Okay. I will keep it a secret, for you though." I kissed cheek, we stood up, and walked back to he car. I really hope I don't have to keep this a secret for long!
