It all started in the summer of 2010, who knew teenagers could find such unrequited love so early? the latter part of the year started with many challenges. The from the day to day conversations, to the skype calls and the random voicenotes, i fell deeper as it pertains to her. Eventually, it wasn't the love for me, i hurt her and at the time, it wasn't something i was proud of but i liked hurting girls. I wasn't ready for commitment and as the time passed I realized id never be ready for her. As time passed, a beautiful friendship unfolded right before our eyes. Believe me, as early as it was, if i knew then what i knew now, this story would have a different ending. Now you see the thing about life is, you never know what it has in store for you. She taught me how to love, how to be happy, unfortunately it wasn't for her. Everything that came my way I followed, not cause i didn't have perfection but i was never satisfied. Ignoring her curly bouncing black hair, her amazing smile and the great gift God gave me to share with her, for slimmer figures basically anyone who gave me attention. Running around, playing in the backyard of my own death as the world should have slowly closed. Hoping she reads my book one day, and i hope she knows that she is the reason for who i am now, but that is a story for a later chapter. Running from door to door, ending up with birthday gifts , people who didn't understand me , hurting the one person who got me through it all. The heartaches of every failed relationship, the rebuilding of my self esteem, my image, anything you could imagine she got me through it thick or thin. She accepted me for who i was, someone who would probably never love her only. Nevertheless she was perfect for me, understanding, comforting and she allowed me my space. Wasn't sure why she made me be so free, but i never asked although years later I regret not asking as i always ran back to her no matter what or the time of the day. She was there through everything. Taking her heart worn on her sleeve for decoration, my journey continued as the years passed. Always right there beside me getting me through everything not holding my past against me, she loved me unconditionally. Overtime, things slowed people came around and different stories were being told with factors of spilled emotions over glasses of red wine and brain food. This set the tone for most of my relationships, or what i looked for in a female strangely. Maybe it was a good thing, or maybe it ruined me but the rest is still unknown at this point. Watching the days pass, as i grew into the male I've become for many reasons from this one instance, i found myself running from commitment. I really couldn't tell you why cause i don't even know myself, i just always waited till they were so deep in love with me and then id find a way to mess up, or slip up leaving my phone knowing it would happen. And thus, a next chapter closed.
