As usual Katy Homes was at school and working on algebra like she did every Wednesday morning. The same look with the chalkboard in the front of the room, the teachers desk in the back. The same eerie feeling that she had every time she entered that class. Until she drifted off thinking, small town students have a inspiration of large city jobs otherwise known as their dream jobs. But, Katy's was different from the rest of the kids in her freshmen class. Some wanted to be farmers or lawyers. Hers was truly a dream job and seemed a little overreached, a professional job, a professional soccer player.
No one believed she could achieve her high standards, as a kid all dreams were something that you believed in on any ordinary day, but now they all seemed nothing but unrealistic. Some say that if you had a dream job you got lucky at tryouts. Alex Morgan, an Idol to her is what she pictured herself to be in ten years. And than a loud "Thunk!" a ruler, was cracked on her desk and she resumed to her algebra.
