It was almost Christmas! I was so happy that it was almost here. I was wishing I had been good for Santa. (Yes I believe in Santa. I am very childish.)

"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS START THIS?! YOU'RE ALWAYS DRUNK AND JUST AN IDIOT. WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID! MY KIDS ARE SMARTER THAN YOU!" My psychopath mother yelled.

"Calm down. Why do you always start yelling?" My stepfather said.

My parents are divorced. I'd much rather live with my dad but my mom would never let me. I'm just counting down the days till I can move out.

"BECAUSE YOU'RE JUST SUCH AN IDIOT. YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO SCREW UP AND DRINK WHEN THE KIDS ARE HERE. COULD YOU BE ANYMORE STUPID?" My mother continued to scream.

"Stop yelling. It's Christmas eve. Me and the kids plus everyone in this apartment don't need to hear you screaming." My stepfather talked back.

This was all pretty normal for me to be hearing. My mother always yells and my stepfather acts innocent. I couldn't stand either of them. They never should have gotten married.

"THEN STOP YELLING AT ME. YOU ALWAYS START YELLING AT ME FOR NO REASON. YOU'RE SUCH A JERK." My mother  had continued to scream more curse words.

Oh well I have a step brother who is 2 years younger than me and a little sister who is 2. And she's talking like this with us all in the house. Parent of the year. (I hope you notice I'm being sarcastic) I hold my little sister hoping she doesn't repeat anything that comes from our mother's mouth.

"Why is mommy yelling?" She asked me.

"I'm not sure." I said.

I continued to hold her as we sat in silence.

Then I see my stepfather storm into the bathroom and he locks the door. (As always. I mean seriously who would want to walk in on him?) Then my mom runs to the bathroom door and tries to open it. (Never mind I guess she would walk in on him.) She fails at opening it and starts kicking the door.

"YOU BETTER OPEN THIS  DOOR OR I SWEAR I'M LEAVING!" My mother shouted.

He doesn't budge. My mother walks into the bedroom by slamming the door and locking it.

"YEAH FORGET YOUR KIDS!" I wanted to yell but I didn't because I knew it wouldn't end well.

About an hour passed and my mother came into our room and got Kaylee (My little sister) to put her to bed.

"Goodnight Kaylee!" I say and give her a hug before she left.

"Goodnight sista." She says and hugged me back.

"It will all be fine. I love you." I whispered so only she could hear me.

She left the room with my mother and they went to bed.

From then on there has been a dent in our bathroom door.
