Chapter 1;Coming of age

Theo was shaken awake by his mum. "Wake up my sweet, it's your birthday, and Your Uncle Will is going to come in about two to three hours or so." Theo's eleventh birthday had finally come. Maybe he would be able to learn why his Uncle Will called his eleventh birthday a "Magic Age". "OK mum, I'm awake" Theo told her after she shook him again. Theo got up and looked around his room. He sat up and started to get dressed when his older brother Alex and older sister Bethany, Beth for short, ran into his room and yelled at the top of there lungs "BIRTHDAY NOOGIES". This was a, in Theo's choice, cruel thing to do on someone's birthday. And being the youngest of his family, Theo didn't have the strength to stand up to his brother and sister. Beth grabbed Theo's head while Alex vigorously rubbed Theo's head with his thumb counting from one to eleven. After he got to eleven he stopped and both he and Beth started laughing. " You should've seen your face when we ran in" said Beth. "Did you guys run up here to make fun of me or is there a reason you invaded my personal space." said Theo. "Oh, yeah, mom told us to get you so that she could finish cooking the yorkshire pudding and roast beef for breakfast." In most families there was a special breakfast or dinner. But in the Coy family the would have dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner. As soon as Theo heard these words he scrambled downstairs, ready to get his breakfast. As he ate, his mom discussed about what they could do today."We could go to the zoo" immediately he rejected this. Ever since his dad told the story of when he was a kid and a giant snake escaped its tank, he never wanted to go to the zoo again."Then how about the Blue Planet Aquamarine. "Um, mum, could I just stay at home and play around at Joey's house?" said Theo. Joesoph, or as Theo called him Joey, had known Theo since they were three. They meet at preschool when Joey was mad because he had no friends. Theo had come up to him and offered his friendship to be rejected immediately by Joey. But after about three to four minutes the Joey said he was sorry and did really want Theo to be his friend. Ironically, they also had the same birthday and would usually celebrate there birthdays together, pretending they were twins. After that they had been friend since. So, as soon as Theo's mum said he could do whatever he pleased today, he sprinted to Joey's house and started to knock on the door. It was quickly answered by Joey. "Theo, happy birthday, guess what, the mail arrived early" as soon as Joey said this he turned and started to run to his bedroom, Theo thought 'typical Joey'. He chased after Joey and arrived at his room to see him holding a letter with a wax seal. The paper of the envelope was the look of paper that was old, but when Theo touched it it felt like all other paper. "What so special about some old letter?" asked Theo. "It's not the letter, it's the contents inside the letter." Joey replied. Theo toke out the letter inside and here is what it said
                                                                                    Dear Joseph Branch,

It is of my great pleasure to inform you that you are a wizard And have been accepted into Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry Hogwarts is a school where gifted young wizards and witches can learn to cast magic spells and charms On the back of the letter is a list of the supplies needed for your trimester Sincerely Minerva A. McGonagall , Headmistress of Hogwarts

Theo looked from the letter to Joey to the letter again. "How'd you think of this prank Joey, some crazy thing you found on the internet." First, Joey seemed awestruck, them angry. "It isn't a prank, I swear, I got it in the mail this morning!" then under his breath Theo heard Joey mutter " maybe you just can't accept that you got beaten at something for
once"   Theo was the one who got to be awestruck this time. "I'm sorry, it's just there's no such thing as magic, is there." Joey's eyebrows scrunched, witch meant he was thinking. After about two minutes, Joey finally replied" Well, I think magic's real now, maybe one day you will to, and you-" Joey was cut short by his mum calling up saying something about Theo being needed home and that his uncle Was there. Immediately Theo realized that his Uncle Will had arrived. He quickly said good bye to Joey and sprinted again right over to his house. When he arrived, he saw proof that his uncle was at his house. In the front of Theo's house was a Midnight purple jaguar. Theo only knew about one person owning such a car, and that was his Uncle Will. When Theo ran in he ran straight into his uncle. "Uncle Will, I thought you weren't coming for another two hours!" exclaimed Theo. "So did I" mumbled his mom. "Well, it look's like your still a obsessed with cleaning like always." Uncle Will said. Not soon after he said that, Alex and Beth ran down the stairs. "Uncle Will, your here." they said as they gave him a huge hug." But soon after this Theo's mom grabbed Alex and told him to go take out the rubbish and go get the mail. When Alex did this and arrived he called to Theo" Theo, there's a letter for you" Alex ran up to Theo and handed him a letter. As soon as Theo lade his eyes on it he gasped. It was almost identical to the letter the one Joey had gotten. Theo's Uncle Will turned and said" Well, looks like its time for you to come of age."                                                                                                                             ~~~~~~~~~             '                                                                                                                                                                 Okay guys, So Theo got his letter. And Joey got a letter to. What. imagine how his siblings are going to feel, considering that Theo's younger than them and it seems like hes the only one who is a wizard.
