As I struggle for breath, "god please. Save me" I beg. But its too late. I'm half dead in my hospital bed. I groan out in pain as I slowly raise my head to notice the door opened then closed. My husband walks over, brushes my bangs out of my eyes, and sets a bowl of chicken soup on my bedside table. He hands me a bunch of 7 blood red roses that smell as sweet as spring. He helps me to sit up in my bed, pulls up a folding chair, grabs my hand and kisses me on the forehead. Softly he almost whispers, "How've you been beautiful. How's your neck and leg?" I reply smiling slightly, "Good. Not as bad as last month but still sore". I had recently gotten into a car crash with a light blue 2002 Porsche. My 2004 gray mercury was destroyed. The front bumper and hood is crushed. The windshield is in about 300 pieces. I broke my neck as I slammed into the driver window. Luckily I was alone. But I still feel bad for the Porsche. My husband, Justin started rubbing my left forearm which snapped me out of the horrific memory. "Are you okay baby? Your zoning out again." "Sorry" I said "I just can't stop thinking about how that porsche pulled out in front of me". "Ok first of all, you have nothing to be sorry for, and second of all, you really gotta try to stop thinking about the accident". He was right. I gotta quite dwelling on my awful past. Just then my best friend Kyleigh burst through the door practically screaming. "Oh my god Jaz are you ok I came as soon as Zoe told me where you are!" Panting she walked over to me and hugged me. "Its ok ky-ky. I'm ok. Calm down" still panting "you're right. Oh hey Justin" she said high-fiving my husband. "Hey kk" "lol" I awkwardly chime in. We all start laughing when Kyleigh's phone rings "excuse me" I nod and she walks by the door "hello...hey Zoe....ya I'm at the hospital.... Umm me, jaz, and her husband...ok great I'll let her know....ok bye". As she walks back over to us, i say, "Zoe's coming?" "Ya she said she'll be here in about like 5-10 minutes" Justin's face basically says *who is this 'Zoe' person* I laugh at him and say, "waddup with THAT face". Kyleigh laughs. "Who heck is Zoe" Justin says obviously not knowing who Zoe is. "Only one of jaz and i's like, best friends" kyleigh says quite loudly. Just then I hear the hospital door open. And in flows a familiar face.
