Cheater

Hermione got into her car and drove home after a long day at work.

She opened her car door and got out. She closed the door behind her and locked it. She walked up the sidewalk to the front door of her and Ron's beautiful house. She unlocked it, opened it, and locked it again.

"Honey, I'm home!" She said.

She heard a loud thud come from upstairs. She walked up the stairs.

"Ron?" Hermione asked.

A door opened and Hermione snapped her head in the direction of the opening door.

Ron's body slipped out of their room and looked at Hermione.

"Hey....you're home early." He said.

"Yes, I know. It was slow at the ministry for magic today, so me and Harry decided to leave early." Hermione said, feeling that Ron was acting really suspicious.

She walked towards the door, but Ron stepped in front of it quickly.

"What are you doing Ron?" Hermione asked getting a bit frustrated.

"Nothing.....what are you doing?"

"I'm trying to get changed." Hermione said, then came another loud thud.

Hermione pushed past Ron and opened the bedroom door.

"RONALD WEASLEY!" Hermione yelled.

"Hermione Weasley!" He mocked as he walked into the bedroom.

"Oh not anymore it's not. HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ON ME IN MY OWN HOUSE, WITH LAVENDER, MIGHT I ADD." she yelled.

" 'mione, please let me explain...." he pleaded.

"Okay, go ahead then! Don't be shy! Let's hear it!" Hermione said.

"I......I.......um......" he stuttered trying to think of something to say.

"Yeah, that's what I thought." Hermione said, shoving her way past Ron once more and slamming the door behind her.

She grabbed her purse and walked out the front door.

When she got into her car she took out her cellphone and called Ginny.

*phone call: G=Ginny; H=Hermione*

G: hello?

H: hey...Ginny.

G: is there something wrong Hermione?

H: um....yeah, can I stay with you and Harry for a couple of days?

G: Hermione, of course, but what happened?

H: I'll explain when I get there.

G: um...okay. How long until you can be here?

H: I don't know, probably less than thirty minutes.

G: okay, well I'll see you then.

H: okay, bye.

*end of phone call*

Hermione hung up, put her phone back in her purse, and started to cry.

About 25 minutes later she pulled up in Harry's and Ginny's driveway.

She got out of the car and walked up to the front door, but before she could knock, the door swung open and Ginny grabbed Hermione's arm, pulling her into the house.

"Tell me what happened!" Ginny demanded as she sat down on the couch.

"I came home from work early, and......and......he.......Ron was cheating on me." Hermione said balling into her hands.

Ginny's eyes got big and she pulled Hermione into a hug.

"And the worst part is, it was with Lavender." Hermione said crying into Ginny's shoulder.

"Hey, hey, hey, everything's going to be okay. Ron doesn't deserve you. You are one of the best people I know and if he has the guts to cheat on you, then he's a fool." Ginny said, "and you can stay here as long as you like sweetie." Ginny said in a comforting voice.

"Thanks, but I'm going to start looking for apartments in the area tomorrow after I get my things from the house." She said whipping her tears.

"Okay, well if you'd like, I can help you get your things since there isn't any quidditch practice tomorrow." Ginny said referring to the Holyhead Harpies.

"Thank you," Hermione said quietly.
