Maddie's Pov
I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It was 9am on the first day of summer. Tomorrow my best friend Bri and i will be in California!!! I am so excited we haven't had a vacation in forever. I decided that I'm not going to waste any part of my summer which means not sleeping all day😂. I always text Bri in the morning to see if she is awake.

B- no. Wanna go see a movie?
M- um sure I'll come over in about an hour?

I can't believe that tomorrow we will be in California on the beach getting tan!!!! I can't wait!! I got up from my bed and went to go take a shower. I decided to listen to the 2k17 pop playlist. When I got out of the shower I put shorts and a tshirt on and dried my hair.
I have long dirty blonde hair with ocean blue eyes. I am 5"6 and I have two loving parents. A dad that is amazing and a mom that is also amazing but they are divorced. Which doesn't bother me, it's been 9 years so I'm okay with it. I switch houses and go back and fourth. My mom and her boyfriend have a place together and they are adorable together and I love him to death. I'm not an only child, I have an older sister in college out of state.
When I got done drying my hair I'm not like my bff Bri that needs to put on every girl essential there is😂😂 she is gorgeous either way. I decided that I want to put on some eyeliner, mascara, and foundation. I don't put much on, but I like the way I do it. After that I decided to wear my grey shirt sleeve PINK shirt w/ white shorts and a brown belt and my white converse. I went downstairs and my mom was already ready for the day and well her boyfriend Josh wasn't quite up yet.
"Hey you call Molly yet?" I asked my mom while grabbing an apple.
"Oh no. I completely forgot. Can you?" My mom asked me nicely.
"Yes mama I will later today. Hey I'm gonna go over to Bri's okay?" I gave her some notice hoping that she would be okay with it.
"Okay. Just be safe with your new car please..." My mom told me.
I got a new car for my 18th bday. I got a Audi A6 turbo charged😍. I'm in love w/ it and so is Bri😂. Sadly I want to take it to Cali w/ us but my mom insisted that we fly and not drive.
"Okay mama I promise. I luvvv uuu❤️❤️" I said kissing her on the cheek.
I grabbed my phone and my bag and got in my car and drove to Bri's house. Her house was about 10 mins away from mine which is really convenient for both of us. I pulled into her driveway and saw her puppy in the window I love her puppy Carlito, he is a chihuahua mix. He loves me and I love him. Bri texted me that the door was open and of course right when I got there I picked up Carlito and went upstairs to her room as she was still not dressed. Ugg this girl I'm tellin you😂.
"What movie did you want to go see?" I said while sitting on her bed.
"Um I decided that I want to go shopping instead cause we leave tomorrow and I want to go get some new shorts and a new pair of converse. Sound good?" She said while trying to find an outfit.
"Yea. Sounds good to me. Can you believe that tomorrow we are gonna be in Cali??" I said in excitement.
"Yes!!!! Girl I am so excited we both need this! We need to get away from work and boys!" She took the words right out of my mouth.
When she finally found an outfit we went downstairs and left. We decided to take my car. Of course like I always do I give her my aux cord and let her be the DJ cause she's a pretty good one.
"OH MY GOD MADDIE!!!" She said screaming.
"OMG WHAT YOU OKAY?" I said all concerned.
"IM FINE DOM JUST TWEETED THAT HE WILL BE STAYING AT THE HILTON TOMORROW!!" She said almost jumping out of the car.
"Oh okay. That's cool. Isn't that the hotel that we are staying in??" I asked her.
"YES!!!! OMG I WISH IT WAS TOMORROW ALREADY!!" She was literally screaming her head off.
We finally got to the mall and she wanted to go to so many different stores so I just followed her. I did end up getting a few cute things. I got 2 more pairs of shorts one white and the other red. Then I got 2 crop tops one a peach cross front and then a grey t-shirt crop. I finally got home, it was about 5pm and I still had a little bit of packing to do. Our flight leaves at 11 a.m tomorrow. So i will have to get up at 7 because I take forever to get out of bed and plus I have to go pick up Bri and it takes an hour to get up the the airport.
