Evelyn's P.O.V

'Pssst!' Noah whispered.

'What do you want?' I asked.

I have never spoke to Noah before. He's got blonde hair and blue eyes, a well built body and a peachy ass.

'I made some cookies, can you try them to see if they're good? You seem like an honest girl,' he asked, desperation within his eyes.

'Yeah, okay,' I replied taking his packet which had a cookie inside.

It looked like a chocolate chip cookie and seemed really good and I bit into it and surprisingly it tasted good.

'It's good, just a little more sugar as I can still taste the butter and add a bit more flour so it isn't that crumbly,' I advised.

'Every other girl said they're amazing, maybe because they want me. You're the truthful one, I like you,' he chuckled earning a laugh from me.

'Noah Taylor, nice to meet you,' he introduced, sticking his hand out.

'Evelyn Mai Arreaga' I greeted.

His eyes widened for a second and then shook my hand.

'I'm gonna call you Evelyn, as i'm not good with nicknames,' he admitted.

We both let out a laugh & continued with our work, work was never too fun. I'm an intern as the legal representative of the company Malsie which is a big firm for selling guns and cars: what a combination. So in short, i'm a lawyer by profession- the irony i know!

Work flew by and lunch came through, it nearly slipped my mind that it was Wednesday and therefore we finish at lunch.

'Evelyn, wanna join us for lunch? We're going to the cafe down the street. You can meet Zara, my girlfriend'

'Uh, sure?' i replied.

i don't know what was wrong with me, i was not this outgoing. i'm one to stay at home more than i am to go out, and i prefer my own company more than anything.

i have little to no friends, as of today. i was contemplating to say no & drive home, but i decided to let myself free. i'm a 21 year old woman who's capable of socialising.

we walked side by side down to the cafe, occasionally conversing, mostly about our internships at Malsie. it was surprising how we both worked here & yet have never bumped into eachother, it was good to know Noah got promoted up to the legal firm.

'Hey baby, this is evelyn, evelyn this is Zara, my beautiful girlfriend,' he introduced, pressing a kiss onto his girlfriends lips.

'Hola,' she chirped, wrapping her arms around noah's waist. She was a brunette, with lean legs and a tanned body. she was wearing a pink coloured dress, with tan wedges, her hair in loose curls. she looked absolutely beautiful, and i could see why Noah was completely smitten by her.
