I started watching this show since it premiered and it's good. After watching three episodes of the show, I already have my ships and favorite characters. For those who don't know, Riverdale is a drama show inspired by the Archie Comics. It premieres every Thursday night at nine on the CW. Here are my favorite characters so far.

1. Veronica Lodge
She is one of the best human beings (besides Betty) and my Ice Queen. Coming from New York, Veronica is trying to change herself after her situation with her dad and comes to Riverdale. Even though, she wears really expensive clothes and does what she wants, Veronica is actually really nice. She makes friends with Kevin and meets her best friend Betty who she is always trying to protect and stay happy. Archie did kiss her in the first episode but she didn't feel the same way because she didn't want to hurt Betty. I ship her and Betty.

2. Betty Cooper
This girl is my sweet cupcake and I love her. She gets good grades and was always nice to everyone. Veronica showed her how to not be scared of who she is and to stand up to her mother Alice who is always trying to control her life. Kevin and Veronica are important to her, but Betty's sister Polly will always be number one in her heart. I don't know exactly where her sister is but obviously it must be scary because Alice will not shut up about it. However, people think Betty is turning to a dark side but she's not. She's just trying to be more confident and determine who she is as a person.

3. Jughead Jones
I already love Cole Sprouse but this character makes him even better. At first, Jughead may seem shady but he is actually the best male character and I ship him with Betty. The friendship he has with Archie is really cute and that's probably the only reason I like Archie. It wasn't revealed why Jughead and Archie stopped being friends before the show started but I think it was because Archie is a popular football player. Jughead is still great because he's a writer, wears beanies, and forgave Archie for lying to him about his relationship with Miss Grundy. They haven't hugged yet but I think they should. It seems that the whole series is revolved around Archie and that may be true but sometimes sidekicks are the best.

4. Kevin Keller
Kevin is Betty's gay best friend and he should have more lines. I like him because he talks a lot about shipping and uses words like "endgame." The way he acts reminds me of my friend Tara. Both of them always want their ships to work out and are not afraid of their personality. I hope Kevin gets a boyfriend soon because he deserves love in his life. I've only seen him a couple of times but his friendship with Betty and Veronica has really blossomed. I think he will rise with Betty and their friendship will compete with the one she had with Archie. Kevin is really sweet and nice and seems like he could never yell at anyone.
