A Change in Plans

AN: just tearing work in the story came to me so I decide to start writing. Course the characters belong to Amy and her husband. This takes place during the year in a life Revival so if you haven't watch that please note spoilers. As of right now it's rated between G and T. I will put the rating before the chapter if that changes.

Rory couldn't believe he was gone really gone. Her grandfather had been such a big part of, she wouldn't have gotten it anywhere close to where she was if it wasn't for him now he was gone. After the funeral she ended up deciding to go to Yale, and visit his favorite old places she was standing in front of the trash can by where he had proposed to her grandmother when someone wrapped their arms around her.  She turned around, and was surprised to see Logan.

"What are you doing here? Thought you were in London, Odette was visiting wasn't she?" Rory questioned.

"You needed me," was Logan's response.

"What about Odette?" She asked.

"It's over between Odette and I. She met someone on her trip to Italy recently," Logan said.

"Oh Logan I'm sorry," Rory said.

"I'm not. It wasn't meant to be we don't love each other that way. It was a dynastic plan only after all," he explained.

"What's the plan now?" Rory questioned.

" surprisingly enough I'm here at Hill because I got offered a job to teach business. I don't want to work on there my father's company anymore I don't really want to work in that business anymore. This seemed like a perfect opportunity," Logan said. I looked at him and Chuck she cannot believe it. Logan a teacher? Who would have thought. Logan laughed at the expression on her face.

" I know I would have never thought a thing and teacher either, but I was here to take an alumni course on business that seemed interesting. Right after that, there was cost on being a teacher. I decided to stay and check it out. Amazingly enough it just clicked," Logan couldn't help but smile as he explained.

"Well I'm really happy for you Logan that's great. I take it that means you're going to be moving back," Rory said with a smile.

"Yep, I got a small apartment in Hartford. That's enough about me though. How are you doing Rory, really?" Logan asked seriously. With that one question Rory broke. Logan wrapped his arms around her tight and held her close.

"It's okay, I'm here," Logan said softly as Rory cried. Eventually Logan drove for a home back to Stars Hollow. He didn't want to driving and he knew that she couldn't be alone at that moment. He knocked on the door, and Lorelai answered she didn't ask any questions. She just ushered Rory in and thanked Logan.

Over the next couple months a lot changed. Rory had flown back to England to find that Naomi had decided not to go through with the book. To be honest though she wasn't disappointed. She ended up coming back to start Hollow, and helping out with the Gazette. Daring her visit to Chilton Headmaster Charleston had offered her a job in teaching. She told him she would think about it. But she wasn't sure if that's what she truly wanted.
At the moment Rory was sitting on the couch next to her mom watching it in the old movie. She have been waiting to hear from a few different papers. Suddenly the phone rang. To worry it's a surprise it was the Stamford Eagle Gazette calling to offer her a job. They wanted her to do on online set of art close about high school and college advice. It wasn't her original passion however she decided to take it.

Life definitely had a change in plans for her.
