there are two kinds of silence:
the discomfiting soundlessness within a budding relationship with all its youthful anxiousness
that wrenches at the nerves of the young who take this silence as an omen that may break them
and there exists
a comfortable silence
the silence you share with someone you love
the silence trusting them with every cell and tissue of your heart and with every piece of your soul
the silence you hope is mutual because
all you wish and long for is that they will love you just as much as you love them
but silence is merely silence
and not everyone shares my silence
