Chapter 2. My Friends!(:

*2 WEEKS LATER*

*LUNCH AT SCHOOL*

*MELISSA'S POV

It was another typical day at DSL High School. Our "group" was sitting in the exact same spots as always.

On one side of the table sits: Robin, Me, Mandy, and Izzy. On the other side of the table sits: Austin, Dini, Kade, and Tanner.

Robin and I have been friends ever since Elementary School, we met on the bus, because she went to a private school up until 8th Grade. But now, she's in the same High School as me!

In the first half of the year, I had a Science class with Mandy. We started taking a lot more, and hanging out more, and now we're practically best friends! She is one of the most fun people you could ever hang out with!

Izzy is Mandy's other "BFF". Other people may know how I feel. You know, the new edition to the "group", because you've become really good friends with ONE of them. Who knows if the rest of them in Mandy's "group" will like me. So for now, I'm just going to stay shy away from Izzy.

Austin just moved into town this year. He's my neighbor. Well.. My "mile away neighbor". We're both living the good life in the country!

Dini just kind of tags along with everyone. She's extremely quiet, but she is one of the smartest people I've ever met.

Now Kade, he is adorable. I mean he's a complete babe. He lives on a farm, he hunts and fishes, he sings in choir, plays in band. He has short blonde wavy hair, and the type of blue eyes that you could stare into for hours. Yes, I used to have the biggest crush on him in 8th grade, and yes, I fall for guys like that. But ever since he dated this complete ditz last year, I've gotten over him. But now we're pretty good friends!

Then there's Tanner. He doesn't talk much. He's just that little 4'9" wrestler, with so much athletic abilities.

Who knows what crap we were being fed for lunch. Was it chicken? Or was is Zebra meat? No one could tell the difference.

Austin takes a bite of his "chicken sandwich" and hilariously spits it out into his napkin. "UGH! It's that spicy crap!" He said

About a minute later, Kade and Mandy sit by us. Kade is holding a white envelope. What could be in there? Well, he is a wrestler, it could be his weight status or something.

I wonder what it could be?
