Well this was strange, a basement we've had for years yet nobody's ever gone inside of it. The two demons of th home stood there, quietly talking amongst themselves. "How are we going to get in?" The masked one, JJ, asked. Din, the other demon, adjusted her glasses "Just throw yourself at it." JJ looked at Din, squinting, but nodded anyways and backed up, then ran at the door and, then the door opened and she almost fell down the stairs. "Amazing" Din said.
Just as the door had opened, the lights had flickered off, the house went pitch black. Din sighed "This is why I don't go anywhere at night" she walked in the basement door, not going down the stairs. JJ got up and felt for a light switch, "Ew...The walls feel like dead bodies" she pulled her hand away. "Cool" Din smiled, though nobody could see.
"Oh by the way, I had a key" Din said. JJ grumbled "oh thanks" "You're welcome." Din touched the wall "Gross" she pulled her hand away, rubbing it on her jeans. After a moment a man appeared, Din and JJ looked at him, Din squinted a little.
"Hello" he spoke. "Hi" JJ replied, Din didn't. The man grinned "you shouldn't be here-" "This is our house" Din interupted, turning on her phone flashlight and looking around with it. Dead bodies were strung along the wall. She didn't seem to react. JJ looked around "Gross.." The man spoke again, "Maybe you will end up like.these bodies one day.." Din turned to face the man, "I can't die." She said plainly.
The man stares for a long amount of time, Din stared back. "Ah..I know how you feel. You stay here while everyone you love dies around you and all you can do is watch..." Din lowered her phone a bit, but didn't seem very surprised. "I haven't been alive that long, man." The lights flickered on, no more bodies, just a normal stairwell. Din turned off her phone flashlight and began to venture down the stairs. JJ followed.
