A young girl stirred in her sleep continuously, her dream was strange to her. Soon she woke up, some of the morning sun hitting her sun kissed face. She blinked opening her crystal jade eyes to see the blinding light squinting her eyes slightly in order to see in her somewhat darkened room. She yawned sitting up as her light brown hair fell slightly in the way of her face, and gently moved the strands away with a swift motion of her right hand.

"Another dream.. who is Aqua?" She asked out loud knowing that no one would reply. She had only been able to make out some words, Aqua being one of them, as well as Ren, Fire Kingdom, spell and lastly arranged marriage. Putting the thoughts in the back of her mind, she got up from her futon, putting away her wool blanket she used, and quickly brushed her hair with a comb she bought. As she did this she looked outside, noticing the sun wasn't very high up meaning that it was early in the morning. Putting her comb down on her her small makeshift table that was off to the side next to her futon, she walked out the room, to another room that was a small, but comfortable living room. There were three family photos on the walls, a small old worn out couch and in front of it a small antique table.

"Jade, what are you doing up?" a kind voice spoke up as Jade turned to another door way across of where she stood, to see a woman to her early to mid thirties, with dark brown hair, that use to be light once, that has kind light brown eyes and had sun tanned skin that was only a few shades darker than Jade.

"Nothing, just wanted to wake up earlier that's all." Jade told the small white lie, smiling, while the older woman smiled back, with a hint of concern.

"Alright then, do you want something to eat then?" the woman asked, believing what Jade had told her, but still had the worried expression written across her face.

"Nah, it's okay, thanks anyways. I'm just going to check on the plants outside, then clean myself up." Jade replied cheerful smiling from ear to ear, trying to reassure the woman.

"Okay, be safe. I'll start making some breakfast." the woman said, now looking less worried than before, and walked into the small kitchen.

"Okay!" Jade yelled as she walked past the door, moving the dark sheer cloth that hung in the threshold to get through. She walked around the home, getting to the back, where there was some dirt sowed, and some visible green buds of leaves spouting out of the nutrient rich ground.

"The strawberries are growing, that's good." she stated, softly touching the tiny leaves with her fingertips.

"I'm not surprised at that, or the fact that you were actually able to get up so early." A male voice said behind her, she turned her head towards the voice with a playful smile.

"Maybe it's because I don't like sleeping in so much, unlike you Terra!" she laughed, joking around with her childhood friend.

The male named Terra laughed as well, "True that Jade, anyways my mom already noticed that they were growing. I'm going to go help her with breakfast." he said as he walked towards the front, going into the home, to help his mother, the woman inside.

"Right! I need to bathe first" she said to herself in realization, as she too ended up walking back into the house, heading straight towards her room, and gathered what she needed for her to bathe.

After gathering what she needed, she walked outside, towards a river, where it was solely only for females, and children to bathe.

Meanwhile Terra's mother was making breakfast, which was just some eggs with a side of some plain bread that was made the day before, but she was lost in thought.

She recently had a vision, for she was a soothsayer and was one of the few people who was still in touch with magic.

Kira, the Earth Kingdom's Soothsayer. Her hair had darkened over the years since fleeing with Aqua, or Jade, taking the baby in as her own daughter, with her son Terra, who had been born some months before.
