Lucy's Pov

"Stop being an ass and go help Lucy now" I heard my foster mom scream at Derek, my older foster brother,  and he stomped over to me.  "Jeez, fine I won't eat then, let me starve" I said sarcastically at he rolled his eyes. He grabbed a plate of mac and cheese for me and then handed it to me and then I went and sat down with my little sister at the table for children. 

After dinner, Derek took me and my little sister, Leanna, down to the park, that was only down the road, and we were really happy about it. I slipped on my boots and coat and we all headed to the park. 

Once we got there, Leanna and I slid down the slides and Derek watched us from the bench across the way. Leanna walked to the swings and motioned for me to come but I was distracted by a dark figure in the woods. I started walking towards it and then it started walking away, so I ran after it until I disappeared into blackness.

"Hello, is anyone there?" I called out into nothing but all I heard was birds crowing and the trees moving with the wind. 

I called again but this time there was something here. I backed up but ended up hitting my head against a tree and fell down on my butt. Someone was here and they knew I knew. "Whose's here"I yelled, starting to cry. They were freaking me out. All of a sudden, a man walked out of the darkness and up in front of me. "Who are you" I said, shakily. As he got closer, I seen that he had brownish-blondish hair that looked like it had been gelled way to many times. "My name is Stefan and why are you out here all by yourself" he said, really creepily, getting close to my face. 

All of a sudden, something fast pushed this Stefan dude into a tree and I got scared and covered my eyes but when I opened them I realized the person who pushed Stefan, grabbed me. 

A couple hours later

I woke up in a strangely familiar place but I didn't know where I was. "Morning, sunshine" someone said, sitting across from me. "Where am I" I asked and looked around at the same time. "This is the one and only, Salvatore Boarding House" the man with the black hair said, and my mouth dropped and he looked at me confused.  "Whats your name?" I asked him, sitting up, now interested in this conversation. "Damon Salvatore and you" he said and I got up and hugged him tight and he hugged back but looked really confused.  "My name is Lucy Salvatore. I must be related to you" I said and Damon looked shocked at the fact my last name was Salvatore. "Lucky Charms, is that you. I thought we lost you forever" He said and I jumped into his arms when he called me by my nickname. My favorite cereal. "Where have you been" he asked after I stopped hugging him. "After mother and father passed, and you guys were off in the military, social services had me in foster care for four years and now here I am" I said and we both started hugging and crying at the same time. "Damy, where is Steffy" I asked him but he looked sad when I asked. "I don't know, Lucky Charms" he said and we both snuggled on the couch for the night until I passed out on him.
