We begin to lose ourselves

To never-ending lust

And thirst for bloodshed

Don't mistake this for something else

Please....this is our curse

For treading down the path

That wasn't meant for humans

Now we must carry this curse

For all eternity

Maybe one day, we'll be able to break it

And live our normal lives again

Was it all our fault?

Was it our fault that this happened?

And that we caused us to become this way?

Or was it God's cruel joke on us?
