DREAM

Chapter 1

"He's so hot" I say to my cousin, Sara, as I stare at the tall boy standing across the room. He's talking to a few guys, one of them is mine and Sara's cousin, Malik Cullen.

"Which one?" she asks sarcastically. "Dean" I laugh and look up and our eyes meet. I smile and look away.

"It runs in the family" she says staring at Malik. Sara and our other cousin, Maddy Blake, are the only ones I can talk to about this kind of stuff. Sara doesn't think it's weird that I find my cousin attractive. I don't see why she would considering she thinks Malik is hot too. She's always trying to get his attention.

The house we're in is filled with over 300 bodies holding red cups, dancing on tables, smoking, making out, and god knows what else is happening behind all the locked doors of the rooms upstairs. Maddy walks in the room and hugs and kisses me and Sara. I love that we're all so close and can open up to each other.

"Maddy in this bitch!!!" Malik screams as him, Dean, Zach and a few other guys walk towards us. Zach is Maddy's boyfriend of 3 years. Dean and Malik hug Sara, Maddy, and I before kissing each of our cheeks. Even though I find Dean attractive I still act like he's just my cousin around him. We're really close and I wouldn't want to ruin that over something stupid. After hugging us they look us all up and down, probably disapproving of our outfits. They've always been protective of us.
I don't think we're dressed too inappropriately. We're all wearing dresses. I guess they disapprove because they're extremely tight and show off our curves. The girls in our family have always had nice, curvy bodies. "Thick" is what people would say.

The boys sit on the couch. Dean puts his arm out to me, signaling for me to sit by him. I reach my arm out and he pulls me down next to him. He puts his arm around me and I lean my head onto his shoulder. Malik, Sara, Zach and Maddy are all dancing as more of our family walks into the room. Our family has always been close, which is why we're always together.

Nina walks in with her, boyfriend, Ross and Eva walks in with, Griffin, her boyfriend. Nina is Malik's sister and Eva is Dean's sister. Nina and Eva leave and come back with drinks in their hands. They both fall onto their boyfriend's laps, handing them each a red cup. I look up to see Maddy and Sara practically grinding on each other while Zach and Malik are hyping them up. Sara looks at me and tells me to come dance but I'm not sure because the music is too loud to even hear myself think.

"Get up here" Maddy screams. "Come on!
Come dance with us" Sara yells. I take one last sip of the alcohol In my cup and stand up. Both of them are already standing on the table dancing their asses off. They're most definitely drunk.

After about 15 minutes of dancing I turn around and see Dean standing behind me. He puts his arm out for me to dance with him. I step down off the table and dance the night away. Our bodies are practically glued together because of how close we are to each other. Everybody is now dancing and having a good time. Parties aren't everyone's cup of tea. But I think it's one of the only places I can be free and let go of everything.
