"I'll have to practice this spell." I muttered dejectedly.

"That's farther than I've ever gotten it though." Remus said, grinning encouragingly.

I smiled. "Thanks."

"How'd you do it?"

"I just thought of the Christmas Holidays." I turned back to the textbook and scanned through it for the nth time. "Can I see you try this spell?"

Remus nodded, and closed his eyes, before waving his wand, and chanting, "Expecto Patronum!"

A silver wisp appeared, and extended half a meter, before curling and disappearing.

"What were you thinking?" I asked.

"Me and my mates talking." Remus stared, staring at where the silver mist was.

"Oh." I said.

We tried it a few more times and got it to a meter and a half, before I turned back to the textbook, I looked at it once more, furrowing my eyebrows. "I think the problem is what we think when casting the spell. The memory's not happy enough."

Remus peered at the book, and I shifted to the side to let him see, before looking at him. He nodded at me and smiled in understanding. "That makes sense."

"Can I keep this textbook?" I asked, closing the said book up.

"Sure."

"Why don't we meet you again?"

"Ok." Remus grinned benevolently, and helped me put the book in my book bag, before opening the door for me as well.

"Thank you Remus."

"Your welcome, see you tomorrow? Or next week?"

"How about this weekend?" I suggested, cocking my head to the side.

Remus nodded. "Ok, bye!"

"Bye." I turned and headed to the Hufflepuff Common Room, voracious about the new charm I planned to practice.

=====

"Remus are you ok? You look pale."

Remus and I were practicing the patronus spell in an empty classroom. It was Saturday and the third week of our practicing. We were meeting every week on Saturday, unless we had plans or it was Hogsmeade week.

"I'm fine." Remus dismissed it, and I raised my eyebrow.

"Merlin, you're definitely pale. Are you coming down with something?" I asked, putting my hand to his forehead.

"You're a bit hot." I mumbled, before seeing a slight blush invade his white complexion. "Oh."

"I'm ok, seriously."

"I don't think we should practice today. You don't look so good, you should go to Madam Pomfrey." I stated vehemently.

"I'm ok."

"No, we should go." I retorted, already packing all my extra books about the Patronus Charm.

"I'm fine! Really." Remus protested.

I ignored him and slung my bag over my shoulder, before clasping his hand in mine, and almost dragging him to the Hospital Wing. He trudged reluctantly, and I was glad he was at least moving with me. I stared outside from a window, and saw the sun setting outside, the sky darkening, and the full moon appear.

"Isn't it beautiful?" I sighed at the sight in front of me.

"Er...yes." Remus said, almost reticently.
