The day before The Pettit took over it was a day like any. We had our usual Vocabulary homework which I was never to Keene on doing. We were dismissed, like usual, Mr Steger said his goodbyes like any other day. We never had any idea that we would never see him again nor know what happened.
The next day there had been a rumor spreading, Mr Steger had left us. We couldn't believe it. We went to our English class with news: our beloved English teacher had left us with no explanation. Mr Ryan R. Pettit, who, a bystander might mistake for a pedophile, was our replacement. We would now know a life of monotone voices and greasy faces and smelly rooms.
