Paint the Town

1 Narrator

It was June 14th. Solar was a Sophomore at Jordan High School. And he was in love with his best friend, Josh. Solar has known Josh for ten years. He fell in love with him when they were in Middle School

"SOLAR! GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!" His brother Clo yelled from downstairs. Solar got up from his bed and rubbed his sleepy eyes. Scanning around his room he saw his clock. 8:40am. It took him a little to register what time it was. Finally he fully woke up. "Shit." He mumbled. Solar got up and started getting dressed for the day. Once he was dressed he went into the bathroom and combed his wild hair. He put his contacts in and walked out. His two brothers were at the door waiting.

"Finally. Your going to make us wait." Clo groaned pulling down the youngest brother, Shima, shirt.

Solar yawns and grabs his book bag: "Where's the others?"

Clo looked at Solar with the face of a mother when she hasn't drunken her coffee: "They already left. Better hurry."

Shima looked at Solar with an innocent smile: "Don't forget to say hi to Josh for me!"

Solar's face flushed a dark red at the mention of Josh's name: "Okay will do. Bye!"

Solar left the house and started to walk to school. He put his headphones on and turned on his music. Leaving one side of his headphones off his ear he started to sing his favorite song: Cry Baby by Melanie Martinez.

Solar was stopped by someone behind him whispering: "I love your voice..."

A/N: Hey guys so this is my first published chapter of Paint the Town. Now I am new to Wattpad and story writing. Now if there is anything I need to improve on write it in the comments. My next chapter will be soon.
