Harry's life couldn't be worse; not only did his friend, Cedric Diggory, die, but Voldemort has risen too.
And he felt every second of it; constant nightmares, feeling as if a bare hand ripped his head open...
Oh yeah, his friends basically ignored him all summer. And on top of that, he also had a hearing for casting a patronus while being underage, in which Dumbledore ignored him completely. Life was great.
"Harry!" Hermione snapped him out of his thoughts. "Uh, yeah?" He replied.
He probably looked miserable and skinny, because Mrs. Weasley has been stuffing food in his mouth whenever he walked into the kitchen.
"Are you sure you're okay, mate?" Ron asked carefully, watching his friend as he slowly ate his food.
"Yeah. Perfect. Amazing. Great." Harry nodded, shoving a piece of bread down his throat and choking on it.
"Harry, dear!" Molly came in worriedly, mumbling a spell under her breath so he stopped coughing.
"We're almost done." She smiled, then walking away again. Despite all the love here, Harry wished he was a bit more involved with everything that was going on.
After what felt like an hour, the order came in; Tonks winked at him, Remus merely smiled and of course, Sirius shot him a wide grin.
"Harry, sit down, dear." Molly shoved a whole plate filled with steak, mashed potatoes and vegetables, even though he finished eating a while ago.
He still ate all of it.
He examined everyone while chewing on his steak. Tonks was amusing Hermione and Ginny by transforming every five seconds, Fred and George were laughing their arses off with Ron and Sirius took a sip of his wine and smiled at Harry when he noticed him looking.
Harry smiled back.
Harry couldn't sleep. He was tired, but his body didn't work. Or better, his mind.
Ron snored loudly, and Hedwig scratched irritated.
The Black mansion was huge; Harry wanted to take a little walk and explore the house, but he was afraid he was going to get lost.
Eventually, he just went upstairs, knowing all he'd had to do was going downstairs again.
Also, Kreacher the house elf scared the hell out of him. He heard other weird sounds, and shivered. Footsteps, mumbling and...
"Harry?" Sirius frowned at him, standing in front of him. "Oh! Sirius." Harry jumped and stumbled backwards.
"What are you doing?" The man said, amused. "Couldn't sleep." Harry shrugged, still hearing those weird, shuffling sounds.
"What are those sounds?" He finally asked, looking behind Sirius as if some monster would show up.
"Oh, that's Buckbeak." Sirius stepped aside and revealed a door, with the Hippogriff inside.
"Oh." Harry replied, bowing deeply for the creature. He stroked him, a smile on his face.
"I think you should get some sleep." Sirius broke the silence. "You're going to Hogwarts tomorrow." He smiled, a dreamy look in his eyes he always got when he thought of his childhood.
Followed by the sad look that always glistened behind his eyes. "Yeah." Harry replied, awkwardly sliding his hand of Buckbeaks back and nodded.
He fell asleep soon after that.

"Harry!" Hermione grabbed his arm and shook him. "Where are you with your thoughts?" She asked concerned.
Well, with a lot of things. First, Professor Dumbledore ignored him again. Second, Malfoy said Azkaban has a cell for him. Third, Malfoy said something about Snuffles.
And fourth, half of the Gryffindor house thought he was a liar.
"Nowhere." He replied, not in the mood for a worried Hermione. Instead, he turned to Ron. "That Umbridge... she's a nightmare." He clenched his jaw at the thought of her.
"Yeah, mate." Ron replied, playing with his wand. "I'm going to bed." Harry stated. He got up roughly and stormed upstairs.
He felt so mad, it was insane. Also, he kept thinking of Malfoy, and how he knew about Snuffles. It was a bad idea to bring him.
Sick and restless, he closed his eyes.
