They say affection is when you see someone's strengths;
Love is when you accept someone's flaws,
You're the one who makes me feel special,
And yes, even if I try hard, I just can't find any such flaws.
To me you are perfect,
And I don't want you to change for anybody,
You mean the world to me and I'd give up for you everybody.
I can't stop thinking about you and I don't know what to do,
There's this feeling which tells me that 'the one' I'm finding is definitely you.
I don't fear having no as an answer,
Because, you know, it would be a privilege to have my heart broken by you.
I write this poem because I hope that something great comes out of these few lines of insane courage,
And yes, you have given me a meaningful role to play on this stage.
If you want to be Phoebe, I don't mind being Mike,
You can be the Hazel to my Gus if I am the one you like.
You're my strength, you're my hope,
If I lose you, life will be too difficult to cope.
And hey! I want my best friend back...... You ask why?
