This is my first book so if there is anything I can do to make it better please tell me.

"Jacqueline! Wake up or you'll be late again! " the dreaded message tore through my dreamland. I've been having a really strange dream lately, and when I get close to figuring out who I am and why I am referred to as "queen", that damned woman wakes me up (lowkey super salty). "Jacqueline Turner wake the... " she was interrupted by my presence. "Can we go now? " she annoyingly asked, my response was to walk out of the door and wait for her by the car. "Ya know you could have responded with words." I roll my eyes, "Will you, my dear beautiful sister, open the door and take me to school please? " I say in a sickly sweet tone while smiling and batting my eyelashes. "Of course we can Jacquie!" my sister responded and we laughed for a second and were on our way to school.
"Okay, get out of my car you're here. Have a good day." my sister said before she drove off. "I love you too." I jokingly mumbled to myself. I put my earphones in and walk into school, the buzz of high school conversations going on as I scroll through my spirit playlists and walk to class. My first class is Art which is great because drawing and music equals my happiness. While walking to class I bump into a tall, skinny boy. I apologize quickly and continue walking only to be stopped by a tap on the shoulder. I turn around to face the same person I bumped into a second ago. I then realize I haven't seen him before, and before I can complete my though he speaks, " Hi I'm a new student here at Jefferson, my name is Jack Skellington. My first period is Art, would you help me find it?" he looked really nervous, so I smiled and held my hand out to him for a handshake and introduced myself, " Nice to meet you. My name is Jacqueline Turner, but you can call me Jacquie. As for your first class you can just follow me, I have art too." After I say this he seems more relaxed. The bell rings signifying that he needed to head to our first period, "Now we should go before we're late. " I hurriedly say as I begin walking to class, he quickly follows. As I continue to walk I see a shadow slide across the wall from the corner of my eyelid when I look it's gone. "Must have been my imagination." I shrug and continue my path to class. "The class is small so it's comfortable to work in, and allows you to think about what you're drawing, you can sit by me if you want. Or you can sit by yourself and let you're fate be chosen from there." I inform him. I-I'll sit with you since we've kind if met. " he quickly responded, which made me laugh a little. We reach class and class goes on and so does school. Jack and I have the same schedule so we've had time to get to know each other and he's pretty cool.
When I get home the house is empty. "She must of had to work late again." I think aloud as I walk into the kitchen to grab a snack and go to my room. As I lay on my bed to read I see the shadow from school glide across my wall. I turn my head and it begins to take a form but is interrupted by my sister jumping on me and tickling me. "Woman get off of me!!! " I shout while laughing she begins tickling me more vigorously. "S-stop I'm gonna pee!" I laugh harder and finally push her off of me then I jump on her and begin to tickle her. "NOOO!! I'm being attacked!!! HELP! " She laughs out. "This is payback. FOR NARNIA!!!" I yell while laughing she laughs along with me. I eventually get tired, so I stop tickling her and lie down next to her. After we catch our breath she speaks gently and says, " Jacquie?" I him in response so she knows that I'm listening, " I love you much. " I smile turn to and say, " I love you much more. Now get out and make me food woman, I'm hungry!" she laughs gets up and pulls me with her, "I'll cook, but you're coming with me to help. " she says. "You always want something. " I whined and walk down to the kitchen with her.
