As Sagittarius Rebb Brandon closes his door getting home from football practice, his father calls to him. "Rebb, make sure you get your trig homework done tonight. I got an email from Mrs. Harper that it's due tomorrow. Good night son!" His father shouted up the stairs. "Good night dad! I will!" He hollered back. As he flopped onto his bed, he unbuckled his belt and took off his new Adidas football cleats. He changed into a white tank top and grey sweat pants. He walked over to his desk and grabbed his homework. He had only four questions left. The class was Intro To Trigonometry, it's an advance math class. As he sat there doing his homework, he couldn't stop thinking about the cheerleader at his practice. She was a beautiful Pisces, dirty blonde hair, bouncing curls, and the most beautiful sea blue eyes. Rebb's eyes were a dark hazel and his hair was brunet and straight. He dosed off on his last question, and his last though was of her, Julie Redman.

"Mom! Come here real quick please!" Julie called down the hallway. "One minute sweetheart, I'm throwing you uniform in the washer for the game tomorrow!" Her mom replied. "Okay!" She shouted back. She waited,
"Mom can you hurry up!!" She shouted impatiently. No reply.... "Mom?" She asked a few minutes later. No reply. Her heart started beating rapidly. She ran down the hall. "M-MOM!" she cried. She ran into the laundry room. She found her mom on the ground. She fell on the ground beside her crying. "M-mo-mom!" She cried sobbing into her mother's arm. She quickly dialed 911 into her phone.
Operator: 911 what's your emergency.
Julie:Y-yes, m-my mom! S-she had a s-seizure.
Operator: Calm down ma'am, please tell me your address.
She took a deep breath.
Julie: 139 East Elm Street, P-please h-hurry
Operator: An ambulance is on its way now.
They hung up. "Please wake up mom! Please!!" She sobbed. She fell asleep on her mom.

Rebb woke up from his dad, "Hey bud, get to bed, finish that last problem in the morning." He slowly got up and flopped into his bed. He dad headed towards the door, he stopped. "Rebb...?" His dad said. "Yea dad?" Rebb said. "Um, I don't know if you want to know this but, Julie Redman's mom had a seizure and is in a coma, Julie will be staying with us for awhile." His dad said tearing up. Rebb was speechless. Tears formed at the corners of his eyes, he felt horrible, he couldn't imagine the time Julie is going through right now. "The station called and told me that, I agreed to let her stay." Julie's mom and Rebb's dad were like brother like sister. They grew up together. His dad was in so much pain right now, Rebb couldn't imagine it. His father turned off his light and left the room. That night he was so scared and worried for Julie's mom. He couldn't sleep. Was Julie going to be at school tomorrow? Was she ever going to be back to normal? This was the first time in over three years she had a seizure. Was she going to survive? So many questions swarming in his mind. Rebb couldn't go to sleep.

Julie woke up in a chair at the hospital. She looked around. She saw her mom laying in bed. Pale as a ghost, not, not breathing. Life support was put on last night but Julie wasn't awake to see. "Mom? You can't die mom! No! Three years! You were fine for three years!" Julie shouted. "Why now?" Her voice said fading away into her sobs. She heard the door open, she then felt arms wrap around her. She looked up, even though everything was blurred from her tears. She knew it was Rebb. There was a figure at her mom's bed, she knew it was his dad, Grant Brandon. She wrapped her arms around Rebb, she put her head on him and let the tears fall down onto his shoulder. "Why now?" She said softly onto his shoulder. " I don't know why Julie, I don't know. Come with me, let's get out of here, go to the park or something, get your mind off of her, my dad can watch her for you," Rebb said. His dad nodded in agreement. "Okay, yea, wait why aren't you in school right now?" She said calming down. "Because I needed to see you. And my dad needed to see your mom. Worked out somehow, but let's go," Rebb said. Rebb's dad tossed him the keys to his Dodge, he also gave him$100 for food.

After they left the room, Julie grabbed Rebb's hand, Rebb enclosed his hand onto hers. They walk into the elevator she started tearing up again. "Rebb, I'm scared, I don't know what I would do if she died, I just can't handle that pain right now," she said with a tear finding it's way down her face. He make her turn her whole body to face him. He wiped the tear with my thumb. She blushed. He wrapped her in another hug, and said,"Hey, don't think about that, think about the best things, not the worst." Another tear fell onto his arm. The elevator dinged and the door opened on the first floor. They separated, but their hands were still interlinked. This was amazing to him, it felt amazing but he felt horrible for being happy. They exited the building after they checked out. They went and got in the Dodge. "What have you been craving?" He asked her. " I don't know why but In 'n Out Burger, DANG IT THAT AGAIN?" she said laughing. "YEP! In 'n Out Burger it is!" He said. laughing. He started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot. "Thanks for taking me out of that room, it's just hard to imagine her having a seizure again," she said. " No problem, anything for you," he told her. They pulled into the parking lot of In 'n Out Burger. They got out and went inside.

As they went inside the saw a swarm of little kids. "Drive Through?" Rebb asked. "Drive Through," Julie said agreeing with Rebb. They left. Before Rebb started the engine, Julie blurted out, "Did you see the life in their eyes? Their happiness?" Rebb turned Julie's head. "Hey," he said. Rebb had a sudden jolt and kissed her. Julie was scared at first but found out that she was enjoying it. She started kissing back. After they seprated, Rebb said, "Sorry, rush of the moment." "That was amazing what are you talking about!" She said. "Do you want to go out with me?" He asked. She looked at him stunned. "OhMyGosh YESSSS!!!" She screamed. He was happy. The grabbed their food from the window and left holding hands while Rebb drived.

"She said 'YES'!" Rebb was screaming in his mind. He drove from the window holding Julie's hand. They were driving back to the hospital when suddenly a Semi detached and slammed into Julie's side of the car, flipped them over, and crushed them. Rebb blacked out. He woke up only to hear sirens and some words he could make out. He felt blood all over his face and in his ears. He couldn't move, his leg was broken and so was his arm and other bones. He had been crushed. Suddenly he went into a state of shock when he heard the words, "Her whole body was crushed," "She's not going to make it," and the worst of all, "She's dead." He blacked out.
