"Dad, why did we have to move here?" Whined Violet as her father pulled into the driveway of their new home. "Honey, I met a girl online here, and your mother says to go away."
They were divorced
"Dad why are you so gullible!" Yelled Violet.
"Go to your room! Talk to me when you have thought about what you said!"
Violet slammed the car door. She opened the front door and slammed that too. She stomped up the stairs in anger. She slammed her bedroom door, sat on her bed, and cried. It was because she was sad and angry. She did not want to move here. She had friends in New York. Now, she has nothing. Her bedroom door opened and her Dad came in. He sat on her bed and hugged her. "Honey, what's wrong?" he asked. "What do you think...I have nothing here...no friends, no family, NOTHING." Violet started crying again. Her Dad left her room. She was devastated.
