Nohr: Throne Room

I walk through the desolate hallways, wishing to hear the sound of Elise laughing and giggleing echo through the halls. Ever since Xander and Camilla went missing, everything has been quiet. Sad even. Leo stepped up to take over, but its just not the same. We all miss Xander and Camilla. Father, er, Garon is gone and my siblings all understand now why i disliked him. My bare feet walk over the soft, red carpet in the center of the walkway. My armor clinks with every step I take and I place my hand over the seashell pendant around my neck. It's the last thing that I have of Azura. She dropped it in the water just before she . . . vanished. Sometimes I wonder where she went or if I'll ever see her again.

I take a deep breathe when I reach the large doors to the throne room. Leo summoned me, so there is no way I could say no. Something about him seemed to change when we all found out that we aren't really siblings. He's grown more distant from me. I shake my head, my brown bangs falling into my face. My headband rests at the top of my head, but doesn't seem to be doing it's job. My hair reaches down to my waist, trailing behind me as I move and flowing almost like water when i walk. A single red rose rests in my hair. A gift from my mother when i was a baby. The one gift that Garon had ever given me, and yet he still threw it at me as though it was a piece of trash I was to get rid of. The red rose is a blood red, with streaks of aqua blue weaved throughout the petals. An unusual flower, but beautiful and meaningful to me.

I shake myself out of my thoughts, my armor clinking against itself. I push open the large doors, walking through them and into the throne room. Leo stands at the throne, a gold chair wrapped in red velvet. The black crown of our former kings rest on his head, his blonde locks wrapping around it. A single strand of hair sticks up from his otherwise perfect hair. His eyes are a beautiful chocolate brown, but yet, filled with so much sadness. He turns to face me, his eyes focusing on me. I stand straighter, as his head rises ever so slightly to greet me. I gently lower my head, my hand resting on my sword to keep it in place. My hair falls around my shoulders, gently tickling my face. Leo's moves are sharp and precise as he makes his way over to me, his black cape trailing behind him.

"Thank you for coming. I'm glad you could make it."

I nod, my body stiff at sound of his voice. Something has changed. I'm sure of it. He turns and walks back up to his throne. He slowly lowers himself into the seat, not breaking eye contact with me as he does so. I walk to the steps just in front of him, leading to the small platform that houses his throne. My right foot rests on the first step, while the rest of my body remains just in front of him. My sword rests on my sife. I glance at him, my eyes quickly examining him. His cape wraps around his right arm, where his left is exposed, showing off his black and purple armor. I see his magic totum resting on his left side, hanging from his belt.

"Now, to get to business. Do you know why I called you here?"

I shake my head, my grip tightening around the hilt of my legendary sword, Yato.

"Since Xander is no longer here to test your strength, I would like to see your strength before I put you in charge of the royal forces."

"Of course, Prince Leo." I say softly.

He nods, his eyes closing as he does so.

"Then please. Come. Best to test you in an area you've never fought before."

Leo stands, motioning for me to stand aside. I release my grip on my sword and take a step back, allowing Leo to walk past me. I follow close behind him as he exits the throne room and walks down the halls. I walk roughly five steps behind him, so I can watch the area before him. We eventually come across a single door in a hallways. I look around to see that tje door was the only one in the hallway.
