All i saw was a big flash. I shut my eyes and then opened them again. I looked around, around the upside down. I didn't see Demogorgon or slugs. I didn't see any of that stuff. I opened my eyes again to see the basement where it all started. I saw the Millennium Falcon, still on the ground from Dustin. I saw the Dungeons and Dragons game with one piece missing. I saw my blanket fort with the walkie talkie underneath it, just like when i left that last day. And then i heard footsteps coming down the stairs. not from just one person, maybe four. I got back under the blanket fort that i slept in months before. Then i saw him. "Mike?" i said. His head turned at the M sound. He looked at me and started to cry. "E- El?" he stuttered. Lucas, Dustin and Will turn around. "Eleven!" Dustin exclaims. Will just looks confused. "Wait but- but how?" Lucas says, stepping closer. Mike looks back and realizes that it actually is me. He runs over, tears streaming down his face, and hugs me. "What did they do to you?" he says looking at my scar. "This is... her, Mike?" Will asks. "The one Hopper leaves Eggos for in the woods? The one that saved me?" Will remembers. "The one that Mike... you know." he finishes. "Yeah dude. It is really her. The one that flipped vans, crushed cans, and saved us." Lucas says, in disbelief. "Mike, it's not safe." I warn. "There are more creatures in there." i say, "and i should be dead." I finish, looking down. Mike starts to cry at the thought of it. Dustin looks at his feet while Lucas and Will are just staring at me. It's completely silent for a second. "Mike! Time for dinner! We have Eggos up here for the boys!" Mrs. Wheeler yells down the stairs. "Eggos?" i say as i run up the stairs. "No El!" the boys yell. I get up the stairs and Nancy, Jonathan, Joyce, Hopper and Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler are there, sitting around the table. Joyce gets up with tears welling in her eyes. "Sweetie?" she asks, remembering the times we spent. Nancy slowly gets up and says "Eleven? Oh my god." Mike and the boys get up the stairs and Nancy says to them " When the hell did she get here?" Mike's parents were looking at me like they'd never seen me. "Mike... who is this?" They ask. "Mom, dad, you know when we were at school really late that one time?" he starts off. "Well this is Eleven or El for short. She was ataying with us for a few weeks while Will was gone. She was from Hawkins Lab. and then that one night, the Demogorgon came and we tried to stop her, but it was too late. Then we found will. And i just never got to tell you guys." Mike says, feeling ashamed. "And she can do crazy stuff too!" Dustin adds. Joyce looks at them and says "Karen, Eleven saved Will." Mrs. Wheeler smiles and hands me an Eggo. I look over at Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will. "Go ahead. Eat it El, you deserve it." Lucas says. And then i look at just Mike "so if friends don't lie and if friends tell the truth, then what do more than friends do?" I ask. Mike looks like he's blushing and Will says to everyone "Oh and Mikes kinda in love with El." Mike looks over at me with his perfect eyes and perfect face, and he doesn't look like a Frog Face Troy, I think to myself. Mike looks at Lucas, Dustin and Will and they all nod and he looks back at me and says "This" and kisses me just like that time when Dustin found the chocolate pudding in the Hawkins Middle school cafeteria. He pulls away and everyone claps. I hug mike and the other boys too and they whisper in my ear "Welcome home El. Welcome home."
