This one is not so great. Haha. This is actually one of my first ideas that I just decided I had to get out. And it's not even that great. Actually, it's pretty poorly written. But nothing like a good edit can't fix. And this one is also fairly short.

Penny Hopkins. That’s my name. The one and only Penny Hopkins. The Penny who’s been in a total of two movies, and working on my third movie within six months, and my life fell apart. Let me get one thing straight. I used to believe that life was like a book or even a Disney movie. You have a problem and by the end you have solved it and live a happy life after that. That’s not how life works. Or at least that’s not how I experienced my life. Sure, I got a lucky break with me being an actress, but now I’m suddenly thinking that it’s a bad thing. A very bad thing.

I was sixteen. I had a car and a driver’s license. Sure, the car wasn’t new, but it was my car. It was the last day of junior year. I was seating in my desk, finally finished with my last final, when I noticed the time. I still had ten minutes. Ten minutes, couldn’t have gone slower. At five minutes everyone was finished with their final, and everyone was moving. No one could hold it in anymore. The teacher looked up from his computer and sighed.

“Just talk already!” he said and went back to his computer. The class clown jumped out of his desk and yelled out summer. All of us joined in. After that moment we all started talking and kept talking. I could tell that we annoyed or even made the other class jealous. Finally, the bell rang and everyone ran out. I was the only one left in the room. I got up from my desk and walked out the door. Okay, well, I didn’t have that many friends. Actually, I had one really good friend and two okay friends. I was totally okay with that.
