14 years later, Sacramento California

  Ring!! Ring!! the phone at Nick Linguine’s house rings loudly. Nick squirms out of bed lazily .”coming!” say's Nick sleepily. RING!!!

the phone blares even louder than before. “COMING!!” says Nick more annoyed. He passes the picture of his father and stops to bring back all the good times. “ Hello” says nick “Hi is Nicholas Harrington Linguine available?” says the voice “ Yeah this is he.” said Nick.” is your mother Marian Jill Linguine?” said the voice. “Yeah what about her?” said Nick cautiously. There was a brief pause.”she's in the Sacramento hospital.” Nick paused for a while. He dropped the phone on the ground and ran to his key rack, grabbed the keys to his fastest car ( a red 2010 Chevy corvette with flip up doors and nitrous) and bolted out the door . He ran to the sports car and jumped over the door. Nick punched his key in the hole and kicked on the nitrous and speed down the highway. His car had to be going at least 200 mph.
