Runaway

Chapter 1

**Audrey**
"Go to your room and don't come out you little brat!" My dad is already yelling at me when I get home from school. I can tell he's drunk cause the sent of heavy alcohol hits me as soon as I walk in.

I sigh and walk up to my room and I hear glass break he must of dropped another one of his beer bottles. I already know I'll have to clean that later.I walk into my room and shut the door. I put my backpack down and walk over to my desk and start doing my homework. Oh sorry I forgot to introduce my self.

Hi I'm Audrey. I have long wavy brown hair that comes right down to my belly button. I have brown eyes and I'm 15 years old.My life isn't too great I live with my dad cause my mom died when I was 4. My dad started to blame me as I got older. He started drinking and abusing me when I was 5. I know if my mom is here he wouldn't be able to hurt me and we would all be happy......but that's not the case anymore. My dads house is pretty nice. He did buy me nice things when I was 14.Since I don't eat a lot and I haven't grown in height all of my clothes still fit. My room is pretty nice too. Anyways enough about me.

I start doing my homework when I hear stomping come up the stairs. Oh gosh what does he need now.

He walks into my room and looks at me with evil eyes. Then he comes over to me and grabs my hair and pulls me out of my chair and starts kicking me and punching me.

I lay there and let it happen cause I don't know what else to do. After he leaves I lay there bleeding and bruised. Awhile later I get up slowly in pain and walk to my bathroom that's in my room . I turn on the water and wait for it to get hot then I undress myself and get in letting the warm water hit my body. I do what I need to do then I get out and wrap my towel around me and turn the water off. I look in the mirror and see that I only have bruises and cuts on my arms and some on my neck. I guess he didn't hurt me as much this time.

I walk out of my bathroom and into my room. I go over and lock my bedroom door then I walk over to my closet and get out a grey t-shirt and some nike shorts. Then I unlock my door and turn off my light and walk over to my window and close my curtains. I walk over to my bed and I lay down and turn over on my right side and fall asleep.
