A Swirling Moonrise

"There" I said as I added a finishing touch to my painting.
I stood up to examine my painting.
The soft splashes of dark blues intertwining with peachy pinks definitely made my painting one of a kind.
It was a moonrise.
Yes. A moonrise.
I really don't get why people often paint sunsets, or sunrises.
I wanted a moonrise, something unique. Something Beautiful.
The door slammed open as my twin brother, Ryū barged in.
"AKEMI WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! I'VE BEEN LOOKING ALL OVER FOR YOU!"
I jumped, kinda taken aback by an awfully triggered Ryū.
"Um, I'm sitting here creating masterpieces, and it was going pretty good, until you came"
I started to clean up my artistic mess. There were papers, brushes and paint lying around my already cluttered art room. It's just part of the creative process for me, I can't concentrate in a perfectly organized room. I looked up to give him a rather satisfying eye roll.
Ryū walked over to look at my recent painting
"What do you call this one my mighty left-handed artist who never eats or sleeps"
''Tis my Swirling moonrise", I replied ignoring his unnecessary comment.
Ryū raised his eyebrows "Aren't moonrises supposed to be like, all blue? Pink is more sunsetty..."
"I'm the artist here, forget about reality. WHAT COMES BEFORE A MOONRISE??? Yeah, a sunset. The idea of a half moonrise and half sunset kinda came into my mind. Who gives a crap if it's not actually how moonrises look like? I picture myself actually sitting outside, listening to Chopin's Nocturne in C sharp minor and just...." I sighed.
Ryū sighed as well.
"Hey Ryū, why were you looking for me anyways? Shouldn't you be playing on your cello or something? Your vibrato has been getting rusty...."
"What?? Oh, I'm here to inform you that dinner is ready, and we should go before Akira gets pissed off."
"Okiiii, the last thing we need is a triggered Akira" I say before rushing out the door (Ryō scrambling behind me).

As we ran down the stairs we noticed an unfamiliar hallway and two new stairwells have appeared.

"Wait.... the house shifted again, where is the dining room!!" I said

UGHHH now we have to look for it.

"So, Ryū, any idea where the dining room could be?
"Umm I think it was up those stairs" he said pointing up at the left stairwell at the end of the new hallway"
"I guess that will have to do."
After about what seemed like forever, we finally ended up in the dining room.

When Akira saw us, he looked at his watch, and gave us a look of disapproval.
"You're like 30 minutes late, how do you think you are going to get anywhere in life if you at always being ridiculously late."
"Akira", Ryū started, "There was a new hallway in front of Akemi's art room, and we got lost..."
"Alright, well I guess you are excused. Sit down and eat while your food is still somewhat warm."
Ryū and I sat down at the dining table.
It is rather large, even though only us three eat on it. It has a white tablecloth with plates set up with eating utensils in front of every chair. There are three candles in the middle and a large, extravagant diamond chandelier hangs right over the table.
The chefs have prepared us a grilled salmon dish with asparagus, which I have to say, was pretty good!
Akira was rather glum despite the delicious food, and he stood up and left his unfinished food claiming to be "not that hungry"

"What's his deal?" I questioned.

Ryū stuffed a piece of asparagus in his mouth
"He's just thinks he's too big and important to even eat with his younger siblings"
Ryū grinned, showing all that nice, mushy and disgusting asparagus (asparagus is good, but in his mouth, it looked like mashed boogers) in his mouth.
"DUDE DON'T TALK WITH YOUR MOUTH FULL!
It's disgusting, and no one wants to see what's inside, especially not me!"
"Whatever Akemi, I'm going to go practice my new cello music, if you would like to come with me, be my guest."
"Okay, I'll risk the well being of my eardrums and hear you play."
