1: The first sighting

I feel the air being ripped away from me as the right fist pulls a second punch, it hits my stomach as if it was a steel pole. I fall to my knees as all sound begins to blur and echo around my ears. I dare to look up as I see Luke's bony hand come towards me again. It hits me hard, knocking me down to the floor. Everything is happening so fast I can't process it. Here' my chance. I push him back with terror that he will strike back harder. I scramble to my feet and run down the hill, away from the school as it disappears swiftly like a ghost. I continue running until I loose my footing on the wet grass. I slide down in a roll and hit a branch from the outskirts of the wood ahead. I crawl to my feet and push through all the sticks and twigs that are whipping my face.

It feels like I have been running for ours, but that isn't enough. I can still here Luke looking for me with his pet apes. I come to a sudden stop, the trunks end as I gaze upon the cliff in front of me. I have no choice. I have to climb it. I throw my right hand upon the thick branch and pull myself up. My feet are scratching beneath me, the green moss falling like snow creating a green lining on my shoes. I force myself to drag up my other arm to cling onto the edge of the cliff. I make it as time speeds up when I hear, "what you doing up there little girl" Luke shouts with thrill and excitement. It is like I am a baby Kassel waiting to make the wrong step in the wide rivers of Africa.  "You coming down from there" yells Luke. "leave me alone" I scream at them in frustration.Tears star to fall down the my right cheek dripping on the moss that is now covering the twigs on the ground. I hear a whooshing sound like when a car drives past at full speed. I see a figure as I turn my head to the left avoiding eye contact with Luke. I see a pale blue hoodie. The figure turns and all I can see is bright glowing golden circles as if headlights beaming at me. I cant see anything as I shut my eyes immediately, then I slip...
