A lone figure stood in the middle of the war torn street. Their almost glowing, ice-blue eyes scanned the area as they remained surrounded by the strange creatures that wielded even stranger weapons.
The creatures all watched the oddly armoured warrior like a predator would their prey, but the Warrior noticed how they seemed to act like a hive mind, and as a collective they attacked, firing their strange weapons that shot blots of blue energy at them like there was no tomorrow. They surely would have been dead if the midnight black and deep purple scales hadn't absorbed or reflected most of the blasts before a faint silver barrier separated the Warrior from the creatures that instead charged, seeing that their projectile attacks were pointless.
As soon as one of the aliens reached them, they let the barrier fall and quickly drew their weapon and let the golden blade cut through both flesh and machine, burning both components in the aliens body as the blade was drawn quickly across it's chest only to be impaled by a huge spear of ice. Frost fell from their left hand as a glowing chunk of blue ice hovered above the palm and they simply spun. Their blade burning, slicing and stabbing whilst the spears of ice froze and impaled their moving targets.
Soon the Warrior was left standing surrounded by the corpses of their now dead attackers. Their chest heaving under the heavy, scale armour and they simply sheathed the golden sword and let the ice in their hand melt away before setting off down the strange, black stone road lined with destroyed, horseless carriages.
The sound of battle raged all around them, the distant screams of innocents in pain or in fear of what was happening. But they simply moved on, and soon came upon the strange tower at the centre of the city with the beam of light shooting out of the top of it. The blue beam had opened a gateway, letting the aliens through to this planet which they weren't even from, yet helped protect. They kept pushing forward, having opted to use the other blade on their person which was made from a dark ebony metal that when it pierced the bodies of their enemies, the life force and strength of the felled enemy would shoot directly into them, fueling them to go on.
They continued to use the ice bolts as they walked, only to be narrowly missed by what seemed to be a silver hammer only to be nearly missed again by the same weapon when it flew back into the hand of its wielder. Their blue eyes followed the weapon, finding that the wielder was a man clad in strange silver armour the likes they had never seen before with crimson red cape that hung from his shoulders whilst his blue eyes locked with their's.
"Who are you, Warrior?" He addressed them in such a calm and collected voice even though they were in the middle of a battle that held the fate of the planet in the balance.
"You should not be asking that at such a time when the state of the planet rests on our shoulders, Thor of Asgard. We will speak when the battle is over." SHE told him, knowing that telling him who she was was going to take a long while. She drew her ebony sword at the smallest bit of movement out of the corner of her eyes but she was right to for one of the aliens had tried to sneak up on them both and she threw her blade, easily striking her target down. "All you need to know at the moment is that you need my help and soon I will need yours." She added as she walked over to the corpse, grasping the blade and tugging it out of the limp body with her foot on its chest before moving to a car where a woman was trapped and hopefully just unconscious. "Guard me whilst I get her to safety." She told Thor over her shoulder as she somehow ripped the door open off it's hinges and then sliced the belt that held the blonde woman in place with the same ebony blade. Sheathing the weapon, she reached in and scooped the blonde up in her arms, taking her out and standing straight only to duck when a blue projectile was fired in her direction, narrowly missing her helmet.
"Thor!" She shouted at him, anger present in what had been an emotionless tone before and he dealt with the problem by throwing his hammer at small team of aliens that had tried to over power them in numbers. They fell like domino's at the force of Thor's enchanted hammer.
