Chapter 1: A New Generation

(Midsummer, afternoon, Kiramond)

The king had just call for a meeting with all the merchants, to speak about the raise in prices for potions.
"I want to know why My warriors can't buy a potion from y'all without spending over 30 medallions on it?" ask the king of Kiramond.
"King Alexander," answered James," Edyma kingdom isn't trading with anyone anymore, word is they are preparing to go on a quest to find the elders of Udonia and ask for the Dragon of peace."
"That's nonsense!" replied king Alexander," there is no such thing as a peaceful Dragon, if that old tale was true then anything could be true, Leave me and come back once you know the truth."
"Yes sir." answered the merchants.

(Evening Kiramond, couple hours since last scene)

"Nirav get over here, we Going to Miss it!" yelled Faith.
"I'm coming, I'm trying to find James first, have you seen him?"
"No and honestly I don't care, James is probrably sleeping like always. Know are you coming with or not, Nirav?"
"Yes, but let's take the scenery route, ladies first." replied Nirav.

(Faith run up a flight of stairs and jump to the roof of a building and Nirav follow)

"Bet you I can beat you there!" challenged Faith.

"You wish!" as Nirav run and jump to the other roof.
We run and climb over buildings the whole way there. Faith had gotten a while lot better at climbing since last time we face. I remember blowing her away, but now I could barely beat her. We finally made it to the brand new training center. As we were walking in, one of the guards came walking up to me and punch me in the face.
"You don't belong here!" he said as he kick Nirav in the knee.
"Stop, he is from kiramond!" commanded Faith!"
"He looks like a Qon knight, there is no way he is a kiramond."

"He is, captain Rodger, do you want me to get my father to come here?" asked Faith.

"No, sorry my lady, Move along!" answered Rodger.

We walk on towards the training center to see some of the new recruits practicing. The reason we wasn't practicing anymore, is because we graduated last year. Faith and James already are getting jobs, James is a blacksmith's apprentice and Faith is a private in Kiramond's Dark army. I don't have nothing, except for the sense of adventure but what good is that.
(couple hours later, 11:00 pm)
(walking back home with Faith and James)
"Guys, I have a question, why don't we go to Curven for a week or Raewin?" asked Nirav.
"Always adventures for you isn't it, Nirav, grow up get a job!" replied James furiously.
"Shut up James, it's not like you are any better then me!" Nirav says as he stands up and makes fist.
(James punch Nirav, then Nirav grabs him and throws him down and starts beating down on him)
"Boys, stop the guards are coming!" shouted Faith.
"we got to go, this way James!" shouted Nirav.
"No Nirav!" replied James," Faith come with me."
"No I'm going with Nirav!" answered Faith.
(Nirav and Faith run for alleys until they made it to Faith's house, then they went inside and rested.)
