A series of short stories featuring my beloved character, THE MUSE. I'm basically just going to be exploring his character here. Read the INTRO chapter for more info on him!
You're probably wondering who this 'Muse' guy is, aren't you? Well! I'm happy to say that I'm here to introduce him to you.
I won't make him answer all the questions himself, no. But I know everything there is to know about him!
First thing's first.
Who is The Muse?
The Muse, also known as Sir, is a mysterious entity who quite literally sucks the life out of everyone. He need to sap life force from others in order to continue living, but he trades years off your life for all talent you desire. He can't guarantee you fame, as he's no miracle worker, but if you have the skills you'll be more likely to take off!
Of course, he leads a tragic existence, plagued with loneliness and inner turmoil. Due to his... condition... he CANNOT touch anyone without automatically starting to kill them! And, when they die, his body naturally uses up the rest of their life to maintain his physical form.
Like biological selfishness, if you will. He's just horrible by nature.
Despite this, he craves nothing more than a meaningful relationship with someone--anyone, really. He craves affection that he quite simply can never receive.
Technically, if you had a hazmat suit on, you could hug him. But that might be a little uncomfortable for just about anybody.
What does he look like?

This is him!
Just LOOK at how happy he is. It's a sham, though. An act.
Human as he seems, certain traits are a bit... unnatural. His teeth, while a beautiful shade of white, aren't exactly your average human teeth. They're all the same shape, width, and size, like the teeth of a cartoon character. He looks normal here, but if you were to meet him in person you would become very uncomfortable.
His eyes, too, while they appear normal at first glance, tend to look stranger the longer you look at him. His pupils are always pin-point in size, and his icy blue eyes seem to blend straight into white.
Finally, his facial hair. Magnificent, no? Well, imagine it moving around on its own, like whispy little wormy whiskers. Yes, his eyebrows, mustache, and goatee are all opposable parts of his body. They aren't strong enough to hold much, but he can grasp lightweight things, like pencils, with them.
Weird, huh?
Why should I care?
Really? Why should you care? You've read this far, haven't you? Simply put: he's a complex guy.
