The day was bright and warm or at lease for skyrim's southern cities like Whiterun, Falkrath, and Riften as for the other parts of Skyrim it still bitterly cold with snowfall in some areas.
The day started out like most since the dragons started to appear in Skyrim. The dragonborn headed out of Whiterun to bag some game and gather ingredients for potions. With the dragonborn was a male dark elf name Erandur.
"Susan how much more do we need to get before we go back to Whiterun?" Asked Erandur as he continued the walk with her. "Not much longer Erandur I promise." Replied the blonde woman as she carried a basket of fresh fish, chicken, goats, and walrus meat. They were trying to find some deer to tie off their hunt and meat supply.
"I was just wondering that's all." Replied Erandur as he place flowers and wheat in a small knapsack on his back. The deer took them over miles of wilderness.
"Shhh." Shush Susan said to her companion as she sat the basket that she was carrying down and drawn her bow very slowly. She aimed it on the deer and fired upon it without a thought the deer was taken down.
When they reach the deer the notice something was odd. There was a clean cut path and it was made of stone. At first Susan dismissed it and went to work on the deer meat.
As Susan collected the deer antlers, meat and hide Erandur began to wonder near it and wonder who could have built the stairs. "Erandur hey can you come here for a sec?" Asked Susan as she place the meat in her basket.
"Huh, oh right coming." Erandur cried out to her as he started to head back to Susan. "What is it Susan?" Asked Erandur and as he reached Susan. "Here you can place this in your knapsack." Said Susan as she handed him the antlers from the deer.
"Susan can we go look at that path over there?" Asked Erandur as he pointed to the old stone steps. "I thought you wanted to go home." Said Susan as she stood up and dusted herself off.
"I did but now it like something is calling to me." Replied Erandur as he keeps staring at the stairs as if he is under a spell. "Fine we'll go though it might be another Dwemers ruins." Stated Susan as she picked up her basket and placed the strap around her.
Soon they were heading up the path to a old blue and white ruins of a palace. They were spellbound unable to speak their eyes were glued to this beautiful ruins. "Is this something you seen in the imperial city before?" Asked Erandur as he finally turn towards Susan. "In all my life I never seen this before and in fact this is something I never read or heard of." Replied Susan as she began to walk the stone path and explore the new area.
"You mean this is an undiscovered area of Skyrim." Said Erandur as he approach a stone pillar. "Yes, hmm." Replied Susan as she turn towards her friend. "But I do know someone who can help us. First we have to get back to Whiterun." Continued Susan as she took Erandur arm and took off to Whiterun.
When they enter Whiterun gates they greeted by a Courier. "Hello, I been looking for you and I have this letter for you, Your hands and her name is Serana." Stated the Courier as he handed her a letter and then look in his bag and found a wrapped book for her too.
"Who is this book from?" asked Susan as she stopped the Courier for another moment or two. "It's from Serana as well." Replied the Courier as he stopped in his tracks. "Oh before you go I have a message that need to be delivered right away, here's the letter and a map for her and tell it is urgent for her to meet me there. It to Serana." Said Susan as she handed him the letter and map.
"I got it and my um pay ma'am." Said the Courier as stood with his hand open. "Oh, fine here's 100 gold." Replied Susan as she reached into her purse.
