Drew walks through the woods alone and upset. Drew was running away from home, he had just lost his best friend. His friend, Shadow, was taken away by people in lab coats. They had called him insane. Drew kept repeating "he is not insane" as he walked. Then all of a sudden he yelled "Shadows Not Insane he just thinks different, give him back!" Drew then burst into tears and started running.
While Drew ran he unknowingly was rushing to a small cliff. Drew ran off the cliff and plummeted down, as he did he let out a terrified scream. At the end of the cliff someone was there and heard him. They looked to find the one who made the scream. Then they found Drew laying on the ground hurt extremely bad.
Drew was carried to the person's house that was crowded with shadows. Drew woke and was covered in bandages. As Drew looked around he began to get scared. Then a familiar person walked in to check on him. Drew stared at the boy that was in front of him shocked. All that he could mumble was "S-Shadow?" then he passed out.
Shadow smirked and watched as Drew went back into a deep sleep. When Drew was all the way asleep Shadow began the experimental process. Shadow injected demonic blood into Drew's arm then added angelic blood. Shadow chuckled evilly as Drew was turned into an angelic demon. Shadow healed Drew so that he could wake up and get up.
Drew woke up and sat up still shocked at what or who he had seen. When drew sat up a sharp pain quickly appeared as his angelic wings appeared. Drew let out a loud whimper as it happened causing shadow to rush in. Drew sat there with tears falling as his back throbbed with pain. Shadow walks over and calms his so the pain will disappear, but now Drew was left with nothing but confusion.
Drew looks up at Shadow and noticed he had huge black wings. Drew decides to question him, "Are you really shadow and um are those um wings really?" Drew watched as Shadow smirked and got closer. Shadow then chuckled evilly "Hello little angelic Drew, yes I'm Shadow and they are real. Oh and you're never leaving you are now my little personal experiment." Drew gulps and inquiries about what he means and Shadow explains everything that he meant and told Drew about what he already did.
Drew was scared yet also happy about seeing Shadow. Drew decides to follow Shadow around and studied what and who he really is. While Drew walked with Shadow he saw several creatures that he thought were just other experiments. Drew then asked "Shadow are we in a lab ?" Shadow did not reply he only did his normal routine.
As the day was nearing an end one of the other experiments escaped and was running around. Shadow sent some other people to capture it, thought Drew assumed the people where just others of Shadows kind. Shadow now was focused on drew and began teaching him to fly. Though it started off well drew was not successful in flying and only went a few inches off the ground.
Drew was tired so he asked to rest and Shadow let him thought he wasn't to happy that he let Drew rest. While Drew rested, Shadow got some other experiments and began to teach them. Drew watched in amazement at how well the others flying skills where. Drew got up and started to try flying but his wings were not strong enough causing him to just fall. Shadow watched and frowned stating, "Drew that's enough we will have you try a new skill tomorrow."
Drew nodded and looked down as he went to his room. Drew was one of the rare experiments to get a comfy room, the others were given cells as rooms. Drews room was filled with super soft blankets, stuffed animals, and other soft and cuddly items. While Drew explored the room, Shadow walked in. Drew looked at Shadow confused as to why he was there.
Shadow watched Drew then spoke, "You're sharing a room with me, I don't trust to leave you in a room by yourself." Drew nodded and yawned lightly. Shadow smiled and helped Drew get ready for bed. Drew then when into a deep sleep. When Drew woke up he was immediately put into his new training.
Drew trained hard, as he did not want to disappoint Shadow again. Drew accidently tripped and slammed his wing into the wall. Shadow examined the wing and then bandaged it up and sent Drew to their room. Drew laid on the bed whimpering as the pain was growing. Shadow came in and calmed him, then just talked to drew.
The next day Shadow left Drew in the room alone as he had work to do. Drew played on Shadow's laptop while he was gone. Drew found information on the place that he was and read it. Drew read everything about the Demons and how they tortured humans ,for what they did to the others, and kept some as Experiments. Drew read also about Shadow had chose to keep him as him Angelic Demon Experiment.
When Shadow got back, Drew was laying on the bed asleep. Shadow walks over to his desk and starts to do paper work. Shadow finished his paperwork around 11p.m. and got in bed. Drew wakes up when he felt the bed more and turned to shadow. Drew yawns and poked shadows nose.
Shadow woke up instantly and glared at him as Drew giggled and hugs him. Shadow rolled his eyes and sat up. Drew then let go and yawns, "so what's on the schedule for today?" Shadow smiled and hands his a clipboard with the day's schedule. Drew smiled and nodded and was happy that he was going to be practicing flying.
During the lesson the Experiments 100, 200 and 300 started to tease Drew about how he could not fly as they could. Drew ignored him and just tried his best to impress shadow. Shadow charted results from everyone and smiled. Drew walked to Shadow and hugs him. When Drew hugged him Experiment 100 walked over and said, " awww the new kid likes the teacher how pathetic."
Shadow took the clipboard and smacked him on the head replying, " hes i'm best friend you idiot also he doesn't even need to be doing lessons today" Drew giggled and smiled happily. he was happy he had his friend back even though he was a Demon. Drew walks off and practised his speed and agility. Drew was faster than any other experiment that Shadow has taught.
As lunch approached, Drew helped shadow teach the others about the outside world and how dangerous it is for them. Some of them still wanted to go there thought they were afraid of it. One of them told about how he remembered when he was human and that he was miserable there. Drew then told a small tale, "The outside world or as humans call it earth, is horrible to mutants, Humans killed all that were alive, well except for the demons, The demons started the experiments to try and bring back the others who had been wiped out years ago."
